I'd think you are right Manthem. The article says that he earns $10,000 a month dependant upon page views etc, and that was back when there was 15,000 users according to the article. Now there is Members: 117,149, Active Members: 41,537 according to the stats on the index page here. That is a considerable jump in numbers. Though, the article was posted last year according to the date on it, so, erm... I checked the wayback machine and the numbers are correct. Well, I heard it was about $10,000 but it could be more. I seldom click ads, but I do. I use the community and if I see something interesting that I may want to look at, I'll click it since I want to give back to the community.
If someone keep clicking the ads on the DP day after day after day, will adsense account of DP be banned?
Well, that piece in NYT just kind of gives a figure without really giving a true figure. My guess is that at the time he earned in excess of $10,000 from DP. I don't have any idea what he earns now from it.
