Hosting advice...PLease help ...

Hi,

If I want to host say 30 proxies do I need 30 different hosts ?

OR can I have 30 different sites all running from 1 hosting account ? (If so how would I do this ?)

I have a perfect server to host many proxies on so thats what I want to do.

Please advise.

 

look, first of all : you need to check out how many "add on domain" = domain name that u cld host in your 1 web hosting account. Let say the "add on domain" limit is 10, that's mean u cld host 10 different domain names in 1 web hosting.

if you do have the unlimited of add on domain that would be so perfect. If your web server cld host that 30 domain names, that gud but you must check the disk space and the bandwidth. For more briefing you cld go to learntohost.blogspot.com

 

and to host proxy websites because many don't allow this

 

Invest in a virtual private server or a dedicated server if you plan on running 30 proxy sites. That's probably your cheapest/best route.

 

would n't he/she need to actually have separate ip's for each one ?

 

I agree with j0ned. hosting 30 proxies in one spot will eat up tons of bandwidth.

 

Although that's highly recommended and probably how you or I would go about completing this project, I say no. Funk-woo10 wouldn't need separate ips.
