Is it true that switching from SMF to VB will yield a far greater organic results?

vB is much more powerful than SMF, rich in features doesn't neccessarily require much modding, great adminCP/modCP, comes with a very user friendly layout, very SE friendly. What else?

VB is always better than SMF...no comparison!....but if you are looking for FREE forum then SMF is better.

VB has far more features than SMF, this is no argument, but I would feel for those who need just a basic forum and features SMF beats VB hands down for its simplicity and neatness.

I think there are other boards, not as well known as the rest, that offers more simplicity than SMF and uses less resources, perfect if you plan to run a support forum or so.
