I have a site which is new which 90% of the traffic at the moment comes from adwords! i pay about 6pence per click.

Today i had 115 visitors my adwords bill was £6.

I earned $2.55 in adsense clicks approx that is £1.20ish

My website them is football tips, but what i want to do is have a higher cost per click!

How do i go about achieving this?

Does it make a difference if i change my title tag?

if i had a certain keyword for example "make money" appear on my page more than the rest on the page, would it mean i would have ads about "make money"?

OK let me make sure I understand this. When someone clicks on an ad on your site you want the click to pay more. Right? The key to that (or so I have been told) is traffic. This means good seo, backlinks, updating content, ect.ect. Google will keep track of how much traffic you get and the ads will start adding up more.

People do not want there expensive ad showing up on a site where there will not be many people seeing it.

The last part was just my opinion and might not be right.

Yeah, that's generally how it works. Your title, meta, and description tags will also affect the ads you see. Doing this will probably lead to a low CTR, though, as your visitors come for football, not to make money.

Anyway, there's really nothing you can do to change your niche CPC. Just try lowering your cost you'd pay in Adwords.

To be no1 for this particlar niche i have to pay this a day!
one of the main reasons i want to be no1 is high traffic equals deeper alliances with the bookmakers at the moment i do not have this! so i am tring to boost my adsense earnings!

The only problem with with the term football tips is google does not promote gambling so there are less companies promoting these kind of services!

So if you was to view my site the adsense are not all related to football tips/ predictions anyways!
