How to register the domain that expired?

    Hi friends
    How I can register a domain that expired about 4-5 days? should I wait more to get it?I must renew it with the registrar that registered the domain? please explain a bit,

    When a domain name expires, it enters a "grace" period, during which the current registrant can still renew.
    The "grace" period is unregulated, but usually lasts from 30 to 45 days. It can be more or less depending on circumstances.
    Once that period is over, the Registrar will release the name to the Registry. The name then enters a 30 day Redemption Grace period.
    When that is over, the registry processes the deletion, and approximately 5 days later the domain name will become available.

    If it is a good name, it will be auctioned off to the highest bidder before you can register it. There are companies that specialize in obtaining deleted domains, and I know snapnames.com is good for Network Solutions. Maybe there is another company that has a close relationship with register.com that would work better.
