Hi i have recently bought a product package because i thought it would be real good but i don't think it is i have read it all before so now is my question. How do i get a refund? I have paid with my visa electron via paypal is it paypal or the owner i shall contact, if it is paypal does anybody have the actually mail adress for getting refunds from paypal
Assuming there was a refund policy of some sort, contact the seller first. If not resolved then contact PayPal and as a last resort contact your CC company. If there was no stated refund policy, more than likely you are up the proverbial tributary without the proper means of locomotion.
What grounds are you seeking a refund under? Was it false advertising, as in it doesnt do something they claimed, or simply a case you just had a personal over inflated expectation of the goods? Which country are you and the seller in? If you are both in the UK and it was mail order then the distance selling regulations give you a statutory right to return within 14 days as long as it was not in any way customised for you and that it is still in resellable condition (minus any packaging damage that was strictly necessary for you to use the product). Your first port of call should be with the retailer.
If the seller has a refund policy, then contact them for a refund or another compromise. What it sounds like is that you purchased something but it didn't help you out because you were expecting something different. With that in mind, if the seller doesn't have a refund policy, you are ethically "stuck". It wouldn't be their fault that you purchased something that you have previously read. Sometimes doing a chargeback could cause more harm to them then the cost of the package.
Also doing a chargeback when you shouldnt can do you more damage - a friend who runs a retail store has taken everyone who has done a chargeback against them to court and won so they have had to pay back the money, legal costs and have a court judgement against their credit rating
Sorry if I missed something but have you received the product? it is not in a proper form or you are not satisfied with it but its working properly? Is there a refund policy available? IMO, you should try to contact the seller in first place and if it doesn't work out well then raise a claim at paypal.
I have writed 3 mails about i want a refund to the seller today but still no answer and yes i have recieved the product but it wasn't to any use qoute from the site:I am also covered by your 30 Day "120% Satisfaction" Money Back Guarantee policy!
It would be a good idea to wait a day or more before filing a chargeback. If the seller hasn't been online today, they're not psychic and wouldn't know the first time you've emailed them nor the following two until they do check their email (assuming they haven't).
Gees, give a company time to respond!!! You really have to give people a few working days to reply to an email, not all companies have hundreds of staff waiting for your every word. If it is urgent then telephone rather than email. Glad however that you got it sorted
