What's the best directory submission software?

I'm looking for some good directory submission software that is up-to-date as far as the directories go. I am referring to software that is basically a browser that fills in your info and brings you to each submission page in the directories. This way it is more manual.

I'm not sure of any specific software that does this, though I'm sure they exisit. Don't waste your time doing the directory submissions, instead work on building unique quality content and obtain backlinks from sites related to your content.

You'll find quality of backlinks is more important than quanity. :)

why don't you try the manual submission.. at least you can assure that you're site is already submitted and in the right category..

There is only one real big difference between manual and semi manual (semi-automatic), the amount of time you will spend with your submissions. Take one person and have them manually visit each directory and input all the required field. They can copy and paste everything from notepad each time, it doesn't matter really. Then take another person and have them use a directory submitter program or some type of form filling program (Roboform) and that second person will have more submissions done faster then the first person. I don't care how fast you claim you can copy and paste, with directory submission software it stores all your information for you and can even randomize it every time. It is still manually submitting to each directory, the only difference is when software it stores all your site information for you so you don't have to copy and paste for each new directory your trying to submit to.

How many times can it be stressed the time wasted on submissions to directories can be used for so much better use?! No one ever listens.

What time is wasted? You can get 1,000 directory submissions right here at DP for about $50. With that you'll end up with 400-500 good links from all kinds of different websites, with different Class C IP's. It's about the cheapest way I know of to get that many links, that quickly.

I sure as heck wouldn't do it myself, but I don't mind paying someone $50 for it.

I myself wouldn't do it either, I would sub it out to someone here on DP. There has always been the issue of manual vs. automated, who in there right mind would manually do each one by hand? I posted the above in reference to what kharen had stated with doing it manually.

Class C IP's have never been proven to give any special SEO beneift. Most directory links give so little weight its a waste of money, I've gain #2 and #1 of many competitive keywords without one single directory submission, in fact I found it harder to do with the sites I DID do submissions with.
