you see this in eBay everyday...I believe there are ( or were) items in this forum sold with this auction style...

bid is started at a low price..sometimes even @ 1 cent with a reserve price that could be in hundreds or even thousands.

I suppose the aim here is to generate enough interests ( which is good for the seller) but also a means where bidders can sort of tell or gauge the value of the item being sold. especially when you plan to resell the website in the future...

Based on yourwebsitevalue.com, this site is worth alot more. I am very interested in buying it ... I'll be doing some reasearches and will put my bid in ... I think 350$ is acceptable.

Ive had a look myself. We'll I won't disagree with the value placed on my site I might have indeed, underestimated its worth. I got $7K+ and a $130 value for my stomache exercises site

Now, i think I don't want to sell it at all
