Selling off my biggest proxy so that I can concentrate on other things.

The proxy is CloakUs.com; the .INFO domain will be thrown in as well. Domains registered at GoDaddy.

Has earned $120.01 in the past week, making it around $15.00 a day. I do not have traffic/referrer statistics; take a look at the Adsense impressions and this receives decent traffic. Has an Alexa rank of 478,491.

I've tried to sell this three times in the past month but people keep lowballing offers; please start bidding at $175.00.

It has already earned $6~ today, with plenty of time to go.

@ CastDead, those are all the stats I have, sorry. I didn't get/don't have cPanel access to where it is hosted.

For anyone interested, BIN is $650, around 1.5 months revenue. I will host it for you as well as teach you how to increase traffic too

 

You mean the projected monthly income. Adsense usually gives you quite a lot when a site first starts out, but it usually doesn't last long. 1 week is in no way a good representation of an entire month.

Having said that, how long has this site been around. Alexa shows it being around in October?

 

Fair enough. I have stopped promoting this in the last few days (apart from the odd Stumble exchange) yet it is still doing alright.

Btw, this earned $80.00 before I started promoting it heavily, so it does have a history of earning (and a pretty high eCPM for a proxy )

 

so how will you transfer the site if you dnt have cPanel

 

I have the files zipped and sent to my email (it's hosted with DP member jayant_me who runs a proxy service) and the domains at my GoDaddy account

 

Jayant uses Adwords to get high Adsense earnings. Is that what is being done here?
I had proxies made by him and made the same amount a day on average, but I also had to spend $100 for example to get $150 back. If that is happening then this is not earning from adsense the regular way.

 

Actually, Jayant stopped promoting mine a few weeks back. The earnings increase you see (went from around $80 in three weeks to $120 in one week) is entirely my work

I have spent $5.00 on promotion once with a DP member; all other methods I use are free

You can ask him if you like though, but he's kinda hard to catch at times...

 

Will you provide any kind of guarantee to the buyer? Traffic/revenue guarantee provided it's hosted on a fast server with no downtimes?

 

Guarantee? Well, no offense but that's impossible. I will promise that I'll help you promote it to the best of knowledge and ability. The traffic is pretty decent at the moment; I do not expect it to vanish.

 

You got 2 pretty big numbers over the weekend there ($15 and $17) relative to the weekdays. Most proxies drop 40-75% on weekends since school is out.

I'd be interested to know where that traffic is coming from before I make an offer. You don't have access to the stats from where it is hosted, but could you get access?

Well according to Alexa most of it is coming from China (I know alex isn't 100% reliable, but still), which is not unusual for a proxy, but what is unusual is the earnings if the traffic is coming from china.
I to would be interested in seeing the stats.
