Hello , how are you today? I have a question about these backlinks. Lets say that i have a site with adds with specific keyword ex (' free ringtones ' domain: freeringtones.info) and and i want to put this site up in SE for this keyword. One webmaster told me that the easiest way to do this is to get as many backlinks as i can. So if i make blogger blogs ( 10 blogs for example ) and i put link to my site on each blog with the anchor tekst " free ringtones ", will this count as a backlink and helps me to get up ? Becouse on Blogger the main domain is the same , only subs are differetn. What do you think? Sorry if i made many english mistakes and i know this question for many of you can be stupid, iam newbie with this and i need advice. Best regards Greg
Greg, This is not a stupid question. There are a number of posts here on the DP forums explaining in great detail about backlinks (ex: BLs, IBLs, external links, etc.). You probably want to search these out and read the answers. Blogger links can help some but, you will most likely need many more links outside of Blogger sites to rank well for 'free ringtones'. There are lots of procedures on how to build your organic backlinks... Forums signature posts is a great example.... Directory submissions, blogging by creating articles related to your site, join and submit stories to social bookmarking sites....
What I think is that posting on the same blog with your anchor text might help you but if you post in different blogs it will be better.
Blog links do help but site links has much weight IMO. There are several techniques for link building and you must be aware of the do's and dont's regarding this
