    1) Make the happy dance.
    2) Go to church and light a candle.
    3) Frame a google stock and put it in my bathroom
    4) Get drunk and party with some other fellow webmasters.

    Too bad is not gonna happen. LOL!

    We would all just do what we do now except we would focus on the next big leader in search engines. There is one thing always true in any industry, when the top falls another takes it place.

    We all use Google because like it not, they are the leader and offer the best services for webmasters. If they were to fail, there will be others lined up to take over the top position.

    when so much money is involved they dont bankrupt but instead they can play a bigger game like the politicians do and drop the company for some thing more profitable. and yes this can happen.

    even though I find it quite improbable for google to just fade away in the next 10 years here is my take

    Google means Internet
    but
    Internet != Google

    Google means Money
    but
    Money != Google

    therefore we can continue living our lifes without google and find out ways to search and other ways to make money

    It's near impossible to bankrupt it, when somebody has so much money, they are earning itselfs :D
    It's like Coca Cola, ppl are addicted to it, also ppl are addicted to Google.
    Atleast i think this work for short term, maybe from long time view not, because EVERYTHING is possible :D
