Hello I know that meta keyword tag is not more important as SEO point of view, even i used to put unique meta keyword tag in all the pages of my site. i have query regarding to meta keyword tag that is, which one will be batter. only "keyword" or "keyword Phase" here is example If i am going to write meta keyword for web design related site than which one will be batter 1) web, design, hire, designer, outsource, website, company, offshore, outsourcing. 2) web design, web design company, web design outsourcing, offshore web design, web design firm. as per my opinion 2) one will be batter but i want to know from other expert weather i m going to right way or not? as in second option web design word comes more than 3 times so is it good or bad? thanks
This is good not bad. Actually these are separate keywords for the Page. Meta Tags are written in this fashion as you write.
When you know its a waste of time, then forget the question. None out of the two is going to help you in anyway whatsoever... Think and ask about other important factors that you might be missing
Its not like that, meta keyword tag should be there in each pages and it must be unique par page. and if you dont want to give reply than its ok. there are lots of experienced members will give proper response to this thread thanks for your reply
I didnt want to tease or do anything personal with your post. But what I wrote is the fact. To accept it or not is up to you. I am sure if any experienced member would come down to this thread, will recommend the same and being less on posts doesnt mean I am inexperienced you can always catch me up at SEOChat as well Its only that if you even omit the meta keywords tag, things will stay pretty normal.. just feel free to include a description tag only rest all is useless rather focus more on the backlinks and content which shall make the website win and not the keywords format.. In short: Delete the meta keywords and dont worry about it. Its not gonna help in anyway even if you consider small SE's for which this tag was initally made have now become extinct.
Yahoo still looks at Meta Keywords. It may make for a fraction of their SERP algorithm, but is still worth putting in. There was talk of MSN/Live using it as well, though I am not sure of this.

The rank 1 site uses it, But the Rank 2 site doesnt. If you would say the rank 1 site ranks coz of using meta keywords and the rank 2 site doesnt, then we shall have a look at the backlinks story For the rank 1 site its 726,000 links and for the second ranked site its 520,000 .. Infact I would conclude that if the 2nd site goes beyond the backlinks count of the first one ofcourse using relevant links only and proper anchor texts it shll replace the first place in the coming updates.. It has no impact whatsoever

Even i know about meta keywords but i want to make sure about keyword phase or keyword thats it. i know that it is not more important but i never give up small things while working on any site. and that is why i take this matter as a big thing for me. i hope u can understand.
