    Some are really really good.
    90% aren't though & I agree..

But a few are great. Bought one out of Clickbank (thelazyaffiliate I think it was) recently that was excellent.

Just like any other market..Gotta keep looking around.

Some ebooks are well worth the money, however, I haven't had very many good experiences. I wouldn't say they are useless considering some people are obviously making good money on it.

So we all agree to Say No to eBooks? Otherwise, I am gonna start making and selling eBooks as well. I go not much of a talent as you guys noticed. To me, it is even hard to make a $1/day.

If you don't like the eBook, or think the claims promise a load of shit, don't buy them. Simple as, unless you're a five year old and can't make your one decisions, or a hormonal teenager on a shopping spree.

Feel free to write your own, although if it's written with the viewpoint shown in this thread... you're selling zilch.

There are good and bad ebooks just like there are good and bad paper books. Who gets to define good and bad? Is it bad because you bought it and it really is rubbish, scams that wont work. OR is it bad because when you read it it didn't turn your computer into an automated money making machine.

I had a user who bought my ebook and said they were disappointed in me not listing more ways to advertise. I listed 19 ways. Half of them I got the ideas, but haven't had a chance to implement them yet. I get 12,000 UV per day to my sites using half of the methods I listed and he complained that I didnt list enough ways. If you get 12,000 UV 90% US traffic to your site and can't make back the $15 that you paid for an ebook then you missed something. I made $57 yesterday from popuners alone. Not bragging, just point is if I can show someone how to use half of the info I provide and make that much a day why is an ebook bad?

Grant it, I didn't just rehash all material from others, I include a lot of my own experience and methods and others have tested and worked. But I have to assume that my user that was disappointed was so because he either thought they wouldn't work and never bothered to try or he had to actually do some work and he didn't like that. I blatantly said multiple times in my book that it would take work and money does not grow on trees.

LOL, Glasshoper if you put as much work into a project as you did into this thread I bet you could easily make $2 per day :D

Anyway.... Heres a though from Thomas Edison

"Opportunity is often times missed because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work" ~Thomas Edison

Not one affiliate link in there at all. None. Now what smart guy? Should we ban printed books like idiots guide to adsense that have outdated shit in them.

Ebook or physical its the same difference one is electronic, one is paper. But I am sure you thought your statements through before you started to just pound on your keyboard right? Oh wait your the author of such threads as What would you do if google went bankrupt?

Here's J.R.O.T. (Jim's Rule Of Thumb) — If the info in the book is good enough to merit people paying good money for it, you'll probably find it on the rack at Barnes and Noble, not as an ebook.

You're not as smart as you think;)

Ebooks are just digital information, there's good information and there's bad information.

It's not right to say ALL ebooks are crap, because that's far from the truth.

Gosh! Now everyone has a ebook to sell? This is wrong! There are to many ebooks on the net that promise to make you get 10k $/month/week/day. I am totally new to this "science" if you can call it that way. Think about the image that you - writers - make to the people that are not aware of this world.

I used to get on sites that said something like "Get rich in...blablabla days" over 20-40 times a month... And each time there was a new site, different product, different author and almost all the time the same webpage layout :|

My point: Less Ebooks please. If the real thing exist, the real methods that make you rich staying home, then they surely made a bad image on the internet newbies like me thanks to the excess of ebooks.

I think there are quite a few good ebooks out there. The problem that really almost everyone can write an eBook and sell it. No publisher between that decides wether your book is worth reading or not.

How about opening up a eBook Publishing company that works just like any book publishing company?
