Shall i add forums too ?

Recently got another interview from a very interesting directory (totally different appearance than any i ever seen). With a feedback comment . "? About my directory no, but I just find the idea about this site very interested, I hope you will have time to continue with it."

Now i wonder if i should add a forums also to one of many directory review site? Would that attract directory owners to get their directories reviewed ? Already more than 17 directories have been reviewed.

Than again when i think of directory forums like www.directory-owners.com i see not much of participation by directory owners. Or is it just the wrong time of the year ?

Your "reviewed" images should point directly to that specific review. You will get more links and traffic from it that way.

If your looking for people to ask for reviews, all you need some good traffic ratios. So in that sense a popular forum might boost your overall buzz.

Forums have the huge benefit of being user generated if you can get them going in the right step, but that last part is key. So their will be lots of yes's and no's to your question.

Oh, but users still have option to edit the link and put it on their site with their review link instead of main site, it becomes really cumbersome for me to create codes for that review as i do all of them in dreamweaver cause of xhtml and wordpress issues that pop up if i do editing via wordpress itself.

Getting forums going for particular niche is hard specially with number of directory owners and users declining and recent sales of directories taking place is example of decline in the industry.

Well you site targets that "declining niche" so creating a forum might not bring you much success.

Just because they don't want to post in your forum (most of them left forums like this because people like you pi**ed them off) doesn't mean they arn't serious about directories.
