Fake or Real ? What type of Xmas tree? Post a Pic!

If you celebrate Christmas:

What type of tree do you use?

Do you prefer to use the same fake tree each year, potentially helping the environment?

Or do you go get a new, real, tree every year potentially harming the environment?


How do you feel about fake trees or real trees? Please share your opinions and post pictures of your Xmas trees!

I use a beautiful fake tree and have had the same tree for the past 7 years.. It sure has saved me alot of money and I feel like I am helping the environment. I will go take a picture and post it for all to see

Christmas trees are chopped down and piled up ready to be sold, having a fake one isn't helping the enviroment imo.

I just put it up yesterday and am going to decorate the rest of my house this weekend.


I know that Xmas trees are farmed and therefore we are not killing anything that wouldn't be there in the first place. But what about all the waste. I always see tons of Xmas trees on the streets after Xmas. Full of plastic iceicles and other left over not wanted ornaments.. That has to be somewhat wasteful.

The stores by me starting displaying and selling Christmas stuff during Halloween.

 

Very nice tree I like your star on top. I usually put a star on top too but my mother bought me the angel last year and I felt obligated to use her.. lol

No Way... My whole town is already decked out. The street decorations are up, alot of houses have had lights up for a couple weeks now and I see Xmas tree lights shining through peoples windows.

Once Thanksgiving is over it is Chritmas time as far as I am concerned!

Fake trees by far. A fake tree is flawless. I don't know about you, but I think they look real. And plus, I absolutely HATE how real trees shed... and not to mention get all saggy I find. I dunno.

 

I agree , Plus they are fire hazards BIG TIME, real trees that is ...

We use fake ones. Real pine tress don't grow well in my country.

 

I hate real ones, they make such a mess!

I usually string up cranberries to wrap around it as garland but I am single this year and that is something I usually do with my loved one.. I thought about inviting my Mom over to help me but didn't want to deal with all that.. LOL Ohh well, maybe next year ... LOL
