Average Wait to get Approved

no more than three days

 

The approval is going slow lately.

Usually they send email like "You will be notified, blah blah blah", I got my Adsense account ~2days after I registered.

 

hmm.. i signed up and i didnt get an email at all


it shows up on my google account (not an email ) but the adsense option but so far no email to tell me anything

 

I just got approved about a month ago, and I got an approved email about a week later. My site had 5 post count (created for the sake of getting approved by GOOGLE) and made on blogger.

 

Have you gotten approved?

 

A couple of days for me.

 

With the Holidays last week I think it's going slower?

 

It took me a week, got response that I am not approved I changed the details and got approved in 3 hours.

 

What details did you change?

2 weeks...maybe thanksgiving doesnt count

 

I applied over a week ago and still haven't heard back.

3 weeks = they won't approve your account, because your site is questionable. This would be serious backlog if they hadn't looked at your application.

I believe there is a backlog. I first submitted a few weeks ago. I waited a few days and resubmitted with another site. So I'm waiting 8 working days minus the Thanksgiving holiday.

 

Reapply when you have new website. If googleminigames.com is the primary website you entered in the application, it might be the word "google" in the domain name that they don't like. They might have thought that there's potential confusion of trademark and ownership, since there're many stupid visitors out there that when they see "Ads By Google" + "google" in domain name, they will think that site belongs to Google.

Maybe you should put a clearly visible trademark statement at the bottom of every page. It's something like "Google(tm) is a registered trademark of Google Inc. This site is not in anyway affiliated with Google Inc. nor does Google Inc. endorse googleminigames.com"

Anyone get approved for adsense in November 2007 or over the last few weeks?
