I was wondering whether it was legal to list casino sites on directories. I just got 2 submissions valuing 40$ and 20$ on my bid directory and I wonder if it's actually legal to list such sites. I researched a bit and saw that BigWebLinks.com lists casino links too (one of which is the in top 5) but I am still concerned. Waiting for your replies. Regards, Radu
It is really your choice, some choose to include them others do not, It may be best to refer to your sites terms and conditions and work within those guidlines/ or adjust them to suit any changes you may make.
i don't include them, but then its your directory so its your choice!! casino owners are good submitters, and they have hit my directories top bid quite a few times, but then i don't accept them so i have deleted the links and made full refunds! also if you accept them, try not to use paypal for those payments, as there is a bit of risk of getting your paypal account limited!!
Bid Directories seem to attract casino sites. It can be hard to reject them. In total i probably rejected over $1500 in casino sites, but its better in the long run as when people visit a bid directory and see the homepage full of casino sites it can turn them off and they may not submit to your site. Its not illegal to list them. Also don't use your competitors as a standard - just because bigweblinks shows them doesnt mean you have to.
This "bit of risk" apply only for US residents or residents of countries where gambling is ilegal. In UK gambling is not ilegal and the paypal accounts are managed by paypal.co.uk which obviously comply with UK laws. I would advise to do a bit of research regarding your account and under which laws you fall... I might be wrong but this is what I know...
WOW ! where this sites are ? come to my directory i will list you all in my country is no restriction for gambling ( i don't know to be )
By saying casino sites you mean sites that review and sugest casinos or actually online casino sites?for the first i would say list them for the second iwould say o. just my rules.
no risk at all, if you call your paypal rep and talk to them about it they will tell you, you are not selling anything gambling related, means virtual gambling money or are gambling. you are simply selling links, and paypal does not care 1 bit for that. same goes for adult. If you don't believe me call your rep.
Yes I also noticed recently a lot of online casino site's owner list their site in bidding directory..
Couple of weeks ago I saw a thread here, someone's paypal was limited because of selling casino links. But if it is alright for countries where gambling is legal that's good news for me. Is gambling illegal in US? I thought Las Vegas was no1 in the world??
I got 70$ more today from casino submitters. :d I visited some of them and they don't really have online casino's, they are just reviewing/pointing to the sites.
I am working on one right now, It will really make good money, If it is a quality resource on gambling. I know that there is a lot of money to be made on that niche.
Porn accounts for over 20% of google searches. I read a blog post on it the other day. Porn is one of the richest internet businesses. If you make a good adult directory you'll do well.
