Hi guys, this will be my first post and i think this is a GREAT forum!!! Anyway i am managing an adult forum which has an Alexa ranking of 6000+ and a page rank of 4/10. I have registered with adbrite/black label ads, etology and adult friend finder. You guys can have a look at the site. www.laksa.org Up till now, the earnings from Adbrite/BlackLabelAds is about $30 odd dollars for this month. I have never exceeded that amount before and from etology its about $1+/- a day. I have about 5-9k unique visitors per day and 50k-60k page views a day. Am i earning too little for the kind of traffic? what others ad company should i sign up with? adult friend finder gives me the worse earnings, for 2-3 months i have ads on the site, it generated only about $14
I would find some affiliates like lightspeed etc and post there thumbs up. Build a site like ampland AROUND your current forum. You generate revenue from people purchasing there products and sometimes if you find the right one's... they pay 15$+ PER LEAD. Only way I can think of to make it more profitable unless you go with popups/popunders but thats a sure way to KILL your traffic.
Only one fourth to one percent of visitors click on ads, so use that as a rule of thumb. And, yes, $30 is WAY too damn low. You should be doing that amount or almost that amount every day with 5-9 thousand daily hits.
Hi guys, thanks for the comments, now i know i still have much work to do. What other suggestions you guys have for boosting adult ad dollars? I realize that most of the time adbrite/blackLable ads does not always appear.
Feeblecow, As might already know, 9k uniques per day is not a huge amount of traffic for adult sites. But with 9k uniques you should be making around $30/day instead of $30 per month. Stop using those black label ads and signup for some real sponsors who will pay you $30 per signup. With pay per click sponsors you earn cents and with pay per signup/revshare sponsors you earn dollars. Join some busy adult webmaster forum to learn more about the latest trends in adult biz. any useful adult webmaster forum you could point me to? I'm still stuck with that kind of figures, plus etology & black label ads, its probably about $1.75 average daily.
i tried kontera but they only allow non adult websites. Anyway i am already utilising adbrite/blacklabel in line ads. Not much additional earnings. Though there was something weird with the AFF stats, the earnings suddenly went up to $30 over the weekend. I have not done any changes to anything at all, still dismal earnings which amounted to $30+ over a period of 2-3 months?

Why don't you try with some affiliate program, which offers adult products. You can earn a lot of money by promoting such programs. If you need more details, you can visit my blog and see some of them.

Get yourself a google adsense I know it will lead people away, but my friend gets only 3k daily and has been generating $2500 monthly.
