I've been on CBU for a couple of weeks, and like others in the CBU thread below, I am not entirely sold on the idea. >>>>>It's expensive. $97 recurring is a big deal. >>>>>As someone else noted, Course 1 is basically "Dayjob Killer in Camtasia Format." In fact, McNeeny even gives out text course materials that are...sections of DJK. How nice. >>>>>However, this aggressive "make money now and here's how to do it" stuff in what I--and most people--want to know about. But CBU started out with their strong suit--McNeeny--to attract members. After that, they're dialing down to weaker stuff like Camtasia design. >>>>>It's not integrated at all. It's basically one guru handing the baton to another guru from month to month. Having Andy Bourland as CBU President is an attempt to give it an air of continuity. >>>>>The forum is dead. 15 threads a week ago. 32 now. Why? They don't seem to realize that our sign-in names also happen to be our real names. Now, how many people want to participate in a forum under their real names? I was really looking forward to a lively forum, too. I hate to be negative so early on. So if something better comes along, I'll report it.
That's an incredibly bad idea. What were they thinking with that one? I don't even let myself know my real name.
I had a feeling this would be the case. Below par product with a high profile person to make it sell. Nothing beats your own research and hard work.
I agree, right here on DP! This program is targeting the noobs. Have a high profile person and charge an excessive amount to give the perception you NEED this product to make money with clickbank. It's all bullshit.
I am glad I spotted this. I didn't think anyone that was as well known as Clickbank would do that to visitors and potential publishers/advertisers. Figured they'd at least have a swarm of content there first. I will wait a month before reconsidering. I almost signed up for the program myself; luckily I spotted this post first.
Yeah, with products and things like that, the question to ask is always "Can I really learn more here than the same amount of money spent on my own to discover the same information?" Experience is often - but not always - the best teacher -T
