Hi all, I would like to inform you about a software tool I developed to have better visualization of Adsense performances. I released the V4. 3 days ago. well try promoting them somewhere else, there are already very well established tools on the net , you need better marketing to promote your tool

I don't understand what you mean... You know a tool like mine on the net ? Please give me the link, I will be happy to see them... I never saw a tool like mine, that why I made it. If a tool like mine exists, do you think I spend a lot of time to develop it ? Did you try my soft before writing your hurting message ? Guy, it's a freeware, I don't need marketing because I've got nothing to sell... I just try to inform people outside my country that my soft exist.

Don't worry, i'm not hurt I accept criticism when it is based on facts, but say it is bad without having taken the time to test ... I couldn't stay without answering it If someone on this forum tried my application and like it (or not) feel free to tell it. And if you didn't like it, tell me why, I'll try to Improve my application.

Looks like a good program to consolidate Adsense data and analyse your performance. However i have a few questions: 1) How secure is my data? Is the software doing the calculation on its own or sends request to any webserver? 2) What new features you propose in the upcoming version?
Hi, It's in French and in English too. At the First startup the Options form open, the first thing in the form is the language combobox, just change it to English. To change the language, go in menu "Fichier" / "Options" and set English in the combobox
My soft don't send nothing, it just get data from Adsense site and store it in a access database on your own computer, your datas are stored in "My Document/CSV AdStats4/" folder. Calculaton are made on your computer. My application is clean you can sniff it, no problem. At the beginning I made this soft for me, because I was boring to use an Excel file and I didn't want to send my datas on sites who generate charts (We don't know what they do with our datas). I plan to add intra-day charts (in the histories) to see evolution of CPC/CPM/Revenu during a day. If you have set the application to get CSV every 15 min for exemple, this kind of charts could be usefull/interesting to see variations during a day. If you want to see features, just ask, and I'll see if I can do it (I'm very busy (see "who I am" on my site ) , so, I'll try to find time to add new features).
I updated CSV AdStats. I added "Intra-day" chart in histories grids. If you want to see an exemple : -http://www.nix.fr/csvadstats-screenshot.aspx?ID=11 This feature is usefull if you set "automatic update" and keep the application running everytime. If you update 1 time by day, this feature will not be usefull for you.
How does it collect the data? From the download page, it looks like it installs an ActiveX control...?
It download the CSV from Adsense site. (The software get the csv files directly, it doesn't use a browser) It's not an ActiveX, it's a stand alone application.
The software is GREAT! But... Would you be able to let us download the CSV ourselves and load it to the software. Many people (like me) are not very confortable with putting our passwords at 3rd party softs... After all the work you've done, I suppose that this should be easy to implement. We download the CSV from our account and then we load it into the software... Thx
Hi shenron, In the V2.0 (far far away in 2004 ) it was possible to give the downloaded CSV files (worked only for FR users ) but since the V3.0 it is not possible because it's very difficult. The problem come from the "CultureS". I mean, Your OS has a "Culture", My application manage a Culture and the Adsense web site manage a Culture too. And here the problems begin (Exemple) : - Your Windows has the NL Culture - CSV AdStats has EN Culture - Adsense site has FR Culture If my application doesn't manage itself the CSV Files download (and culture), It can't import correctly in 100% of cases your downloaded CSV Files. If i wasn't clear enough, you'll understand the problem with this simple exemple : In FR 1000 = 1 000.00 In EN-US 1000 = 1,000.00 In NL 1000 = 1.000,00 In CH 1000 = 1'000.00 Etc... So with a "manual" import, the datas could be wrong in lot of cases. (ie : 100 instead of 1.00 or 1.00 instead of 100 etc...) If you want to see the problem, modify your language in the Adsense preference web site and get a CSV. Compare the CSV with the CSV downloaded in your prefered language. I think you'll see the problem/differences. The second problem with a manual import is for channels management. In my application, with a manual import it's impossible to manage your channels. And finally with a manual import you could spend a lot of time to import CSV instead less than 1 min for an automatic update. (I've got +40 channels, If I've got to import them manually... I could spend 1h ) Like I said, if your skill is good enough, sniff my application, you'll see nothing suspect. My application do everything locally, nothing is sent somewhere. But if you are affraid, I can understand, don't use it. (I made this application because I didn't want to send my CSV Files on web sites who generate graphics, we don't know what they can do with our datas, so I made this application to do everything locally on the computer) Btw, Your login and password are crypted in the config file of CSV AdStats on your computer ("My Documents/CSV AdStats 4"). They are not visible in clear. In France, "I'm well known" (have a look on -http://www.nix.fr/en/nix.aspx) and be sure I won't play/kill my reputation for a software...
