I have a Merck Medical Book I have been reading up on for about 8 years now. It was a Christmas gift one year from the grandmother of the young girls I drove to school everyday and it is one of my favorite gifts ever! I have learned a lot from it.

I used to be skinny. But i changed my diet to a lot of pasta, protein shake after breakfast lunch and dinner, and protein bars. Then go to the gym to turn what fat you have into muscle to then gain some more fat turn that into muscle etc.

Hi I am a weight loss coach but I think if you do the opposite of what weight watchers do you should gain weight. You may have skinny genes or being thin runs in your family. So despite the food you take you may still look thin. But first you need to establish if you are indeed eating nutritionally well and healthy. Do you have a right mix of proteins, carbs and fats in your diet? You are a vegan, so eating animal protein is out for you but take enough soya based foods such as tofu, soya rich replacement drink, nuts and legumes may help. Eating greens are important for the vitamins, fiber and minerals your body needs. Make sure you get enough EFAs too otherwise include some food supplements. In short, to gain weight your calories intake should be more than your calories expended each day. My last solution is that you see your friendly doctor and do a blood check for any health issues in case. It pays to listen to your own body. Good Luck!

Although you hate doctors/hospitals, you may have a hyperactive thyroid. If you're eating as much as you say you are, overeating won't help you, it will damage your other organs. Good luck.
