Well, I recently installed Kontera on all my sites and now my eCPM seems have gone down 50%. Could it be from kontera or could it be from something else? My traffic is up and my clicks have been steady.
I am also using them together on one of my websites but it did not affected the adsense CTR... I can say it increased a little.
I don't know about Kontera, but the day I installed Text-Link-Ads and my eCPM discreased for more than 60%. The day after I removed TLA, eCPM went back to normal.
Your eCPM increased a little? Maybe it was because of the recent Thanksgiving holiday - which made my eCPM drop 50%. It's back up now.
No way eCPM will be lower when installing TLA or Kontera. Maybe your site content is not to eCPM level. Could you check it again.
While you seem to have chalked the changes up to TG, I installed Kontera a little while ago and have watched my numbers drop. I wonder if there is not some correlation. My clicks do not seem to have changed, while all my earnings have.
I don't know, i seem to remember a few people complaining that thir CTR had went down slightly after adding Kontera, but I am not sure if cpc is affected.
Well you are giving your users MORE ways of exiting the site by adding Kontera. Someone who clicked on a Kontera ad could possibly have clicked on some adsense if they hadn't already left the site through a kontera link.
