Should I Put Blog as Home Page?

    Hey guys,

    I was just wondering is there any problems with putting the blog as the front page or home page of your website. Any disadvantages? So basically should you put the blog as home page/front page or should you put a real site like one made in dreamweaver?

    It all depends on you... what you want to start... as per as seo point of view is concerned it will make no difference

    I should say a blog will be a great page to be placed on your root domain since it will have lots of words=contents which favours your blog to search engines.:)

    If you plan to expand your blog later, you shouldn't unless you really know how to turn wordpress into a content management system.

    Are you selling something? If so, you could use your blog as a type of landing page or you may be better off with products first.
