This month makes a year since I left my "day" job (actually it was a night - third shift - job). I'm still not rich, but I make more than I did when I was punching someone else's time clock
I'm 16 and to be honest never want to work for someone else if I can help it. Let's hope that this internet stuff kicks off within the next few years though...
CPC has gone down 50% since the holidays began. Kind of makes me want to go find a job. Then, I snap back to reality and focus on building sites again.
i left my "day" job a year ago. Now i'm happy: dont sell my time to others, and income is only a little less than before...., but with current and future adsense and online advertising (and the whole internet!) changes, future in this field is uncertain.
I can't wait to quit and work from home...but I'd want my current salary plus the $15,000/yr it will probably cost to be on my own healthcare plan.
I don't want to have to work anyone else, but it is looking like I will have to; I am struggling just to break the $0.02 per day in AdSense
Am still with my day job. Now trying hard to earn 500 / month. I started IM August this year. Hope can start earning 500/month. Still a long way and a lot of hard work involve. Regards, Stephen http://www.internetmarketingjourney.com
No Plans in the near fututre, but if, things work out maybe in 10 or so years, i will be able to work at home. It would require atleast 50% increase, just to cover the chance of the change
to work for others is the worst thing when he talk about money, i don't want to be a slave to work 10 hours a day / 6 days/ week for 15 $ a day in my country , but i'm a fool not able to do nothing on my own , i lost my website today because i was angry on godaddy hosting now is a long 0 $ income
I wouldn't ever leave my day job, online earnings are not guaranteed unfortunately - no matter how you make it - it can always go away.
It`s not a good idea to leave your job or just leave from adsense, I have different advertising companies in my sites and also private advertisers!
I am still at college, university next year, my plan is to make enough to cover my spends whilst at university and cover my course. Will.
i left my day job back in 2005. There is no way I would be able to make as much money as I am now with the day job taking over most of my day. Coming home and working at night was a pain and I was losing money. Adsense is only a small portion of my income though..
i am dreaming the whole day of quitting my dayjob lol my plan is: when i earn enough money to pay my bills (of course wait a few month to make sure that income is stable enough) i will quit. i am sure that after quitting my dayjob i will make more cash, because i can spend more time for my online business
Congratulations, that is definitely a good achievement. I've found for my niche that daily posting quadruples the daily earnings. If I go a week where I don't post daily the income goes down significantly.
