Ever feel like giving up on a project? Well I have just spent the last couple of hours compiling a list of: 101 Tips For Staying Motivated I hope you guys can extract some form of benefit from it
Not bad, not bad at all... I hope you don't mind but I've optimised that lot and have 1 Tip for Staying Motivated
That's my single biggest motivator. Shoemoney's face is planted on my office wall. Anytime I'm discouraged, that big check puts me back in check.
The best tip by far is to set goals for yourself. For instance, I am currently infatuated with "Rock Band", a video game involving several real sized instruments. I am now working 3-4 times as much as I would normally just to get the $500 needed in total. If you have something to work for, you can achieve anything. Even if you have to pretend you're working for something, set goals wherever possible.
101 should be the #1 hehehe Good list, there are some important points there. That was worth reading!!
I actually look at that one in a different way. I think about all the hard work that other people have wasted when they quit, & start looking for the pieces.
Thanks! I have trouble staying motivated... I get excited about a project, then before you know it I try to hurry up and move on to the next thing that (at that moment) excites me more.
