Well, he gained a couple points with me for being honest (and funny) about it. Plus I agree with his answer on medical marijuana. I also think we should encourage hemp production for a number of reasons. Obama: Yes, I inhaled—that was the point
Just more fluff to cover up the fact that he doesn't give straight answers. Trivia time. What kind of paper was the Constitution written on?
Vellum? I'll take Obama's answer any day to Slick Willie's. Clinton was one of the smartest guys who ever inhabited the Oval Office. Should Obama win, may his intelligence guide him to a bit more. p.s., aha! I was right! Does my answer make me a good man?
Hemp. The Constitution was written on hemp, and the government has banned that material, the strongest fiber, which would revolutionize American industry.
Agreed. Plus all that hemp production would make all those hidden plantings of marijuana in the tobacco and other fields be turned to shite (due to cross pollinization). Yeah, Clinton often answered with doubletalk. Slick Willi was right!
I have read many articles that had info 'proving' some were written on hemp. If that proof is false I do not know, I do know however there is more than one copy. Is it possible that the main copy was written on one substance, while others were written on others? It's not uncommon even in todays day and age to have a master copy on one material, with others backups on other materials. One for display, one for security of the written word.
Shhhh - you'll spoil my victory. Interesting, at least both (original on animal skin/parchment/vellum; and multiple copies, on paper) are true when it came to the Declaration of Independence: United States National Archives and Records Administration
Which animal? We should start growing those and use them for paper from now on. *actually, I didn't know that. Here's your hug.
