Who plans on leaving Day Job?

Who plans on leaving their day job?
and what would it take for you to leave
your day job? the earnings should be 100%
of your salary plus what percent more on top?

 

I should be making atleast twice my monthly salary to leave my job. working towards it. cant reveal more at this stage

 

I don't have a job yet so I can't lave my day job.
If I start generating $10k/month from adsense, then I won't ever need a day job..

 

When I have enough income from other sources. Unfortunately, that hasn't quite happened yet.

*I also haven't won the lottery.

 

I left my day job a year ago when I assigned at night shift until now..

 

If I could just get 1k from adsense and other internet resources I will leave my job. Working hard for it.

 

I am but it has nothing to do with my Adsense income.

 

It would be silly to leave your day job , what if all of a sudden Adsense desided to bann your site or your account ?

I would say that all your bills should be paid off, cars, house, etc. Then you need to at least replace your income that you made at your job plus have plenty stored in the bank for emergencies.

I would love to quit my job, but won't happen in 2007. My goal is by 2008!

 

I been day job free for almost 3 years now... But it's because of affiliate earnings, not AdSense... AdSense is only about 10% of my income.

 

student here, but if my earnings from online is >5k brunei, then no jobs for me

 

My formula for leaving my regular job was to triple that income, but to have it come from three separate streams. That way if one stream, or possibly even two streams, went down I wouldn't be forced into poverty.

i've been planning on leaving my day-job for a long time now.. for the last several months my online earnings have been equal to my day-job earnings, and last month my online earnings were actually more than my day-job.
I've been using the extra money to pay-off all our debt (pretty much debt free now), and saving the rest in the 'emergency' fund..
Right now it's benefits like health insurance that make me keep showing up at my day job.. we have a sick family member and without insurance we'd be in big trouble..

 

Yup... In the Philippines, 1k a month is too way enough for us to leave our day job.

 

It's not enough if you're living in the United states.

 

1K is enough to live in most of the world. Just for fun I typed in 12k USD in the global rich list and it said I was among the top 12.88% richest people in the world
