Whats the best way to Monetize a free adult video site? The site has videos, and neatly organized. Currently gets 20K+ Uniques daily. Upwards of 30k at times. ~100-150k Pageloads. I'm currently earning $55-$70 daily Via Adult Ad world Popunders and BlackLabelAds CPM together. For this kind of traffic on an adult site, anyone know how to better monetize it? I don't know how affiliates would perform, as the site already provides free adult material.. Any advice?
I prefer some sort of CPM/Popunder network that pays more than Adult Ad world. Im currently making 45-50$ Daily from AAW from popunders alone on traffic of 25k Uniques/day
Popups suck and annoy visitors. You could easily make $50-$150/day depending on certain conditions, with that amount of traffic using adengage. I'd look into them. A lot of these programs frown upon too many popups. I'd consider getting rid of them altogether. Also, you may want to consider an affiliate program. You should be able to convert something with that much traffic. -boxer126
Adengage system is weird... I Just setup some ads. I Used standard sizes, and Put the codes in. I needed two different sizes, So I just hit get code twice and slapped em in. Am I done? Is that all I need to do? Network ads are running now. My clicks through AVN ads weren't that great, But those ads did suck.

If anyones really good at monetizing adult traffic. My sites getting 30k+ Uniques daily, and soaring, but I need help monetizing, I'm using adengage now, getting 10$ daily from network ads. hit me on AIM: krohnathlonman I'm interested in knowing what kind of script you're using. Mixing affiliate type plugs in with the normal hosted plugs is a GREAT way to handle it. Depending on your traffic quality handling affiliates properly could be a very good way to do it.
Why not try promoting adult sponsors directly instead of AVN ads etc. Or you can mix both. But you have to be careful in choosing the sponsors though. So many adult sponsors have terrible conversion ratios. Send me a pm if you need to discuss something.
The CPM for blacklabel ads is not exactly the best thing to use as they come in randomly. I have 3,000 uniques a day and over 200,000 page views, yet I make maybe 1 buck from CPM ads. It's kind of an annoyance.
I've been battling with the same issues on monetizing my site as well. I've tried the popular ones like Perfect Gonzo, Bangbros, AFF, etc. The only one's that have paid have been Etology and Black Label Ads. Etology is strictly a CPC system but they have performed the best for me. Black Label is both CPC and CPM combined and is in second place as far as performance. I only get about 3-5k unique hits a day and probably clear a total of around $2 each day (w00t). I keep testing out different scenarios for ad placements on the pages and different ad companies to see what works best. All-in-all what I've found is that the higher the quality of traffic my site gets, the better the conversions I get. Nothing else I've done seems to make much of a difference. Free sites are difficult to monetize since most of the people that go to those sites are looking for...free porn. I'm going to check out adengage and ynot to see what they have to offer, thanks for the tips. I'll try to update in a week or so with what results I find.
Can you elaborate on that? What do you do on your sites to get affiliate programs to convert? So far, they haven't paid me a dime. CPC and CPM are the only programs that have worked for me.
With an adult site, we would try promoting the site in our signature and go for a "Girl's love brainy guys. Get a College Degree in 5 days...". Something like that We have found a small text ad above any SEARCH box works good with this program.
