People Should Think About Feelings Before Issuing Bogus Red Reputation

We are all in this forum which is like it's own little world, and for the most part, we don't really know each other. So common sense should lead us to have some common courtesy in our interactions and I have had such pleasant experiences in this forum ... until I stepped out of the Business threads. I got involved in some casual conversations, and all of a sudden, the bad reputation element creeps in with ignorant and derogatory remarks. Why don't people consider the feelings of other people when they are submitting personal messages via reputation, PM or otherwise? I know that there is no face or name to our digital identity, but that does not mean that there is not a human being on the other side of the words that are written. If someone has the gumption to just ping someone with a negative for no reason, other than maybe not liking a certain breed of dog or whatever, than don't add all hateful commentary about their ethnicity or where they are from. Whatever guys ... I am going back to the business threads.

I've found that people usually give positive reputation unless you pick a fight or are rude... Sorry about your bad reputation points, but I'm sure it's not going to be a common thing as long as you become a regular, respected poster here

 

bitch slap anyone that you think needs it. and dont let them comments bother you, i have been called every name you can think of on DP rep comments. i return them in a screenshot in public and call them out, they can only read in frustration as they dare not reply.

 

That is too funny! Isn't that against DP rules or something? I thought they have all these rules where you are not supposed to talk about your bad reputation? Somehow, this song comes to mind ...

I have no idea who you are... BUT if you threw a fit over somebody tossing in a negative rep you need to step back and connect with some people OUTSIDE of the computer. Go ahead and hit me with negative rep if you'd like... All I would do is LAUGH! Reputation points on a forum like this is about as useful as buying shoes for a girl with no legs.
