I am aware that this is certainly an unconventionalapproach to starting a relationship. I am Mr. TabWalton, the personal account officer to the great latediseased who has an account in one of the top bankshere in London, United Kingdom. The account was opened in 2002 and he died in 2004without a written or oral WILL and since 2004 nobodyhas operated on this account again hence the money isfloating, and if I do not remit this money outurgently it will be forfeited for nothing, andGovernment of United Kingdom will confiscate the fundsfor their personal use which I personally don't wantsuch incident to happen being that this is a greatopportunity in my life. My contact is for you to please assist me to transferthe fund {£62,654,000.00} from a Cooperate Bank herein UK to an oversea account. You can either provide us with an existing account orto set up a new Bank account immediately to receivethis money, even an empty a/c can serve to receivethis money, as long as you will remain honest to metill the end of this important business, trusting inyou and believing in God that you will never let medown in future because this business is my life. The owner of this account is a foreigner and no otherperson knows about this account or anything concerningit, the account has no other beneficiary and until hisdeath he was the manager of the company. Myinvestigation through the National immigrationdepartment and Ministries here proved to me as wellthat he was single as at the time of his entry intothe United Kingdom. As a matter of fact, I havedecided to transfer this fund abroad for investment. Your assistance as a foreigner is necessary becausethe management of the bank will welcome any foreignerwho has correct information to this account which Iwill give to you immediately, We will start the firsttransfer with Forty Million {£40,000,000.00}. Thanks for the warning! These scammers sure are clever, it really is believable to think that someone would randomly just give you money for free !

    /end sarcasm

Tbh, anyone who actually falls for it, probably deserves it! (Live and learn and all that.)

Cheers for posting that but lots of people have already warned us of this before on DP :p
They must be scamming someone using this method otherwise they'd stop sending these out and think up a new scamming method!

I always reply with "I'm so interested, how do I do this?" then lead them on for a couple days... if we all just wasted their time, they'd probably go find real jobs...
