They are both rather big and long... and in this context that is not a good thing. But not as bad as when I registered howwemakemoneyontheinternet.com (I had an idea, okay? :)

Guess I would pick the second one. You are not going to get type-in traffic, and I doubt there are many searches for legit-homebased-business (could be wrong would have to do keyword research), but search engines may catch it and if you are in a display situation like AdWords or first page of Google search, it might help get clicked on.

There are about 5 to 10 searches for "legit home based business" daily. For "home based business" searche is thousands per day.

The 2nd one, the reason being that theres so many scams and stuff regarding working from home that if your name gives the message that your genuine, its already a good start.

I would personally not introduce the legit part into any business name. Why even get them thinking about the possibility that you are or aren't? My .02 cents worth. As others said, it's way too long too.

Too long... I would pick the first one simply because it is shorter. Any name over 3 words are hard to brand. Why don't you look for something shorter? Sometimes it might be just better to buy something nicer upfront to develop. Afterall, the value of your site will worth a lot more with a shorter domain than any of those two. :)
