Give me your Serious ideas! My company is offering CHEAP Price web designing solution.. (see my Sig for link) I mean we are offering a complete 6 Pages site + Contact form... Free Domain, Free Space and Free e-mail setup.... at $250 only! i mean... look around... where can you find this kind of offer? we are good in designing.... Still! we are generating very less sales i mean... why? when you can get same products at high of $800 or $500+ we are sooo cheap... please give your advise how can we boost our sales? Do some SEO for your site... and also the site from which you are taking WD-orders make attractive and include some flash on the frontpage header with scrolling details of your projects and clients... also try to market your WD-site with adwords... hope this helps...

i think that the design is great! i dont like flash too. just start to advertise it like an crazy! use different ppcs ( yahoo,msn),do articles about design including your link and submit it,advertise to optin lists,foruns..
Domain names and hosting you can get for like $2/month. You give folks one free year, so that's: 12 months = $24 for hosting/domain name expenses (ie - GoDaddy, etc) So that means you are charging about $225 for 6 pages, most likely static pages... right? Not a bad price if you are a good designer, which you seem to be. However, you never mention how much it will cost once the "free year" is up. That information is a necessity. I would never order a package from you since I was not presented with all the information I need to make a good financial decision. Most folks build websites for the long haul, and you only let them see one year out with your current sales pitch. So my recommendation... talk more about how much it costs after the one year period. Then I as a customer can decide easier if it is a good deal. Good luck!
1) Advertise your site in the rite places 2) use adwords advertising . its got a good converting result (you can buy coupons from vouchers forum) 3) good seo 4) design ur site in such a modern way so the customer gets attracted there only . if ur site looks good than the customer will also expect something better and u surely buy from u

You need to brand your organization,and market in a different way. Target high-value self-employed people. You have hell-of-a-lot of competition out there. You can't charge 250$ for 6 pages just like that. Promise your customers you'll send them 500 visitors a month. Use PPC at cheap sites like Bidvertiser. Customers like visitors. Include that in the package. If people are willing to pay 250$ for pages, then certainly they will desire graphica and flash-filled pages. I'm sure you make such sites. You just need more offline and online advertising. People love freebies. Offer free support. Tell them your server has 10GB reserved for them. That's gonna please them. 6 pages don't require more than 10 MB if they contain VERY HEAVY GRAPHICS AND FLASH. So, that sums it all up.
If you have visitors, uniques, and still you don't sale it´s because people feel uncomfortable...maybe they think because it´s so cheap there´s a scam. Like gauharjk said you should diversificate your offer. By curiosity how many uniques do you have a day? If it´s under 100uniques of QUALITY TRAFFIC i would start an adwords account to get more traffic
I dont have much traffic.... under 50 Uniques (W/O Adwords)... I am did adwords comp's a month back but i dont know what i am missing?
"Still! we are generating very less sales" In which way you generate sales CURRENTLY ? Maybe you should just take more work on it. Do you make sale a day ? A week ? A month ? P.S. I see that your site 3,5 monthes old. But links pointing to it based on Google of course are just from your signature, which ...hmm...really not bad if it send 50 uniques a day. Try to get them more. Look what will happen if you get let's say 10 more such links from relevant sites (paid, exchanged, begged in exchange for something, etc.). You will be at 500 a day of target visitors and sales will rocket. However take in account what others have said in this thread. Some may think it's cheap and it's turn of, some may not like cause don't know what will be after that site, etc.
Reduce the price for some time; say 1 month etc... like ............at 150$ only etc... Try to find out if this less sales happen due the price structure.....
Hi If you don't mind here are couple of my comments: The one thing I don't really like - is that 6 pages. I know it's kind of standard - but you're limiting yourself mostly to people who need just 6 pages. Be more flexible! If someone needs less he might feel he's overpaying. If wants more - there's no info how much would that cost. Maybe try $50 per page - but 6 pages = $250 (1 page FREE!), over 6 pages +$15-$25 per page..? This way you're opened for smaller websites with a good price (and it's up to you to convince the customers how many pages they need), your standard offer of 6 pages will seem like a good deal (as they are getting 1 page worth $50 for FREE) and you obviously offer a good deal on websites with more pages. Try to put some info like 'satisfaction guaranteed' - we will work till you're completely happy, unlimited revisions for your peace of mind, some slogans like that.. [ok, I've found it in 'features'. But I'd do it on the homepage - make people interested enough to click on 'features'] Think about offering your services in UK, get the .co.uk and other domains into your offer - as £250 in some places might be cheap, in others it might be a fortune.. but £125 for a website in UK it's definitely cheap. Also, try to advertise on pages related to business startups, etc. PS: I also have a small webdesign business, don't advertise at all, don't even have a website for it, charge $600 - $800 (and it's still cheap here in UK) per website based on CMS + ecommerce usually, graphic design / flash etc is outsorced.. and can't complain on lack of clients. First real estate agency website I did for a friend, he referred me to his friends.. and that's how it started. Good luck with your business! Poor Jerk
