    If you set up, for example, xyz.com/ringtones.php and all it did was forward to your affiliate link right away without first showing a landing page, Azoogle wouldn't like that as much as you showing a landing page and the user clicking through to the offer themselves using your affiliate link.

    Read this-

    Let me know if it helps.

    About the landing pages, do you register new domain for every new offer?

    Can you tell me what exactly you classify as a 'campaign'. Is it just a single product on your landing page or are you using a range of product from one category for that campaign - say you've started a campaign about flowers (then you're selling artificial flowers, bulbs, real flowers, pots, etc. )?

    I'm reading your blog as I'm typing this and great info so far :).

    So I want to get started with a ringtones offer on copeac, but how do I build a stylish landing page?

    I've seen a few and all are really good looking, web2.0-ish. Do i need to hire a designer to make landing pages for me?

    Thanks for your help, really want to get started with this.

    It really depends on what you're talking about when you say campaign. For advertising, I mean a group of ads and mostly it's just a budget limiter in this case.

    For marketing in general, a campaign is for a single product.

    Thanks! I really hope people find it useful.

    You know, I'm not really that amazing at adsense. I'd love to learn how to be but I've been doing it for about 5 years now and my best day was probably $40. Now I make about $5/day, so I'm probably the worst person to ask about adsense revenue. :)

    I would oblige you but your affiliate manager is the person you should talk to. 'Top' advertisers change every day, so it's good to ask. I ask on a weekly basis. :)

    In general, that's exactly what I'd recommend. If I couldn't build websites myself or if I didn't know how to copy and alter them, I would definitely hire someone to do the job. Just make sure you find one you like and show that to your designer, so they have something to reference from.

    No prob! Good luck to you.

    Hope everything works out.

    Umm... is that a hint? :D

    I can create and modify websites well enough - I'm just no good at designing.

    Think I'll just ask my AM for a good landing page(they do provide them dont they - the COPEAC email said they do), and well, use my affliate links with it.

    Anyways thanks for your help,
    anions :)

    I've a question about keyword tracking.
    When a user comes to your page via ppc, and then they click on the offer, the keyword that brought them there is tracked in the link right?
    What if the user clicks to other pages in your site first (about us, contact us, etc) and then only clicks through to the offer. How can you track they keyword still? Or do you disregard that tracking.

    If its Direct Linked, I think the merchant can see what keyword from the Search Engine from tracking code theys inserted in the page

    From you landing page you can also put a code to track from the SE aswell. As for Tracking the converting Keywords, just use the SubID. If you wanted too you can track all your keywords in the excel sheet. Each keyword having a subid, 1a=free ringtone etc.
    Its easier to track on the ad group level, hence similar organized keywords.

    you must use sessions and have something like this on your landing page (the first lines):

    session_start();

    if (!$_SESSION['id']){
        if (isset($_GET['id'])){
    	    $id = $_GET['id'];
        }else{
            $id = "not_from_ppc";
        }

    $_SESSION['id'] = $id;
    }
    Code (markup):
    then on the about, contact... pages you must have the first line "session_start();"

    your link will be: $link = "http://x.azjmp.com/xxxx&sub=".$_SESSION['id'];

    in this way you keep your tracking id from page to page.

    Ah thanks, I figured I needed sessions scripts (sorry, noob here).
    But I've really no idea how to implement it.
