    America sucks, right anthony?

I find it humorous that an entire group of people hell bent on bashing America at every opportunity, is having such a hard time, because one person that resents such, is keeping "them" at bay.

    Boo America!

They don't support the government. GTech seems to think the flag is synonymous with government, not with the people or the sacrifice for independence.

I'm not even sure he knows the story of the Star Spangled Banner, what the words actually mean.

But then that would be par for the course.

Our flag is synonymous with those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Better men and women than you or I will ever be, have given their lives, so that people like you can hide behind the Constitution while ceaselessly attacking our country, day in and day out.

Assigning blame, using discredited numbers, to our soldiers to further their cause. The first to convince them on allegations, in the court of public opinion. Taking good news and twisting a topic into something else, for the sake of taking away their credit.

Some people would never do a thing for their country, other than whine, moan and complain about it, while others have gone out and died for it. About par for the course.

Beware all ye who "hide" behind the Constitution. It is exactly what the founding fathers wanted, so it must be bad.

Our country is nothing without the Constitution. That's all we're trying to do is make people like you realize we aren't even coming close to following the rules anymore, but you seem to think we want to destroy the country (Constitution)

    Entertain me :)

Our Constitution is alive and well. There are some groups of people that believe our Constitution is created for foreign terrorists. The only time you rarely ever see them bring it up, is when they believe it will benefit those that want to harm our country. Perhaps there's a synergy there.

I'm a little confused whether or not you are saying you believe the constitution was created for (or is being kept the same as much as possible) terrorists who wanted to keep it that way? I'm assuming you meant something else. That doesn't compute with everything else I've read of yours.

Guerilla, gtech seems to believe that our government is made to break the very laws our founding fathers created this great country for. When we go into foreign countries not just to not help foster democracy but to destroy it he seems to find a way paint these actions as legal, but when another country does it to an ally he will find every bit of government supported information possible to support them. Like guerilla and grim said so often, thank god for the freedom of information act. I bet he can even find a way to justify the cleansing of the native americans that happened a while ago.

Our constitution is alive and well, it even supported our destruction of democracy in iran, it helps to take out majority popular peaceful leaders of foriegn countries and also we specialize in taking out time magazines men of the year. Im confused, is this a government of the people, by the people and for the people, or a government created by the people, for the special interest group and of the special interest groups.

Lets ask democratically elected leaders like mossadegh, qasm.

Even castro was once supported by america and was pro democracy until he found out that he was supposed to be a puppet leader and nothing more:).
Lets ask ourselves who helped fund and support castros overthrow of batista in cuba. Id like to see gtech and rush limbaugh on a talk show together. I actually listen to rush alot. It is awesome if you want some good ole fashion slapstick comedy.

Lol, I think you get off on antagonizing people to make your days pass a little quicker.....

But regardless of your thoughts GTech has some valid points out of all his propaganda he believes in, and some less creditable points of view. Singling people out and starting a thread solely on that person is a little uneasy on the stomach ~ you need to channel your knowledge and opinions in a progressive and productive manner IMO

Dimeadozen, i can right now if i want to tell you that there is beachfront property in alabama that i would like to sell you and if i had enough money get some government facts together to convince you of this, but you would actually go to that area and see that there is no beachfront property there. You are doing the logical thing by investigating this claim. All i did was ask gtech to ask one iranian student with knowledge of iranian politics from the 1950's to ask them if they thought mossadegh was a bad guy fro the iranian people. He wouldnt accept that challenge. This tells me that some people like to hide from the truth.

In foreign policy you cant always get the whole facts from your own government. You need to ask the unbiased masses of that said country about it. Im giving the example of iran and mossadegh because its a slam-dunk case. Mossadegh was well loved, was very peacefull, was elected democratically but was taken out by our government and the british government. if your gonna be for freedom and democracy you should be consistent with what you believe in. Does gtech believe in freedom and democracy as long as we can destroy it in other countries or does he truely value freedom and democracy for all human beings.

Just admit iran was a huge short sited greedy blunder which destroyed, democracy, freedom and trust in a fledgling democratic country. Now why wont most history books write this in schools? because history is written by who? The victors:)

Thanks but I already have a house :p

I am not siding with anybody or the beliefs of different people my point is clear.. Though a member of DP might be one sided and disagree with a majority of people there views are still knowledgeable in some areas of context. So you take what you want as creditable and leave the rest behind.

Please don't confuse my opinion with agreeing on every post the person you are referring enters.

My other point is just because many feel the person in question is bias and close minded ~ doesn't mean he should be singled out in a separate thread. Though he might like the attention and opportunity to say as he pleases as is the will of the op I find it disrespectful all the same.

But thanks for your point of view was entertaining.

stephen colbert gets his reputation straight from GTech i swear. sometimes i get the two confused :)

no but seriously Gtech i don't have a problem with you, you're very open minded for a "neocon". we used to be on the same side so i still consider us allies. we'd probably agree with everything if you didn't let little things get in the way of bigger things. you'll eventually come to our side if you truly seek freedom.

huckabee and paul supporters should be more united, we are the most educated out of all of the candidates and the most open-minded.

but i have your back GTech in a way, cause i always look out for the underdog and you seem to be harnessing that position on these forums.
