Is signing up CBU any worth of its price? some say it is $9.95 and some say it is $97. what is it? I don't understand. Could anybody report a honest review on the CBU?
Right now it is only $9.95 as a trial membership. After 30 days you will be billed (recurring) for $97 each month. I reviewed the first portion of this course on my blog and posted the URL here.
At 10 dollars , I think I will try this product out to see if it really delivers the goods, so far I've read jake21 review on his blog and it's interesting.. But I know one thing, my roi better be good in these next 29 days before my renewal is up.. Stan
It's funny how every other clickbank product online accepts PayPal, but if you want to join ClickBank University you have to give out your credit card details... What's with that? I like paying with paypal as it is very easy to cancell the recurring subscription payment if necessary, in fact I can go into my PayPal account and cancell it immediately, that way I don't have to worry that I might forget to do it within 30 days and I still have access to the program for the remainder of the 30 day trial, but when I pay by credit card I have to rely on my memory to cancell at the end of 30 days because if I cancell the subscription immediately through the merchant (clickbankUniversity) I would lose access to the program right away, so idealy I want to cancell the day before the trial period ends My guess is... that is why the payment process is set up this way, so that there is a good chance that you will forget to cancell before the trial ends and you will automatically be billed $97.00 I think we've all been around this game long enough to know that this is what many merchants rely on! Hey Andy, Why not accept PayPal... Be honest!!!
I sent Andy Bourland an email in regard to ClickBank University NOT accepting PayPal and he was Gracious enough to reply, Here's his reply... I actually agree with you. If you saw my product/account settings with ClickBank, you would see that I indeed selected PayPal as a payment option. I have no idea why it doesn't appear. I use PayPal often myself. I'll ask the powers that be at ClickBank what the problem is when Monday rolls around. Thanks for the nudge on this! Take care and have a great weekend, Andy Should be interesting to see the outcome... I'm going to give it a shot (out of curiousity) if they accept PayPal, if Not, then forget it, I don't like giving my Credit card Details to every Tom, Dick and Harry
Okay, well so far (month 1) appears to be a recycled version of Day Job Killer and Affiliate X.. same principals I took some of the advice to and applied it - I've improved my CTR and am spending less $$ on more targeted clicks but I've received $0 in sales. Unless something changes fast and I start getting a few crazy sales days I wont be able to justify spending $97 on Month 2. I was really hoping for more out of this, but we'll see.
PayPal payments - I believe it is because - It is A LOT harder to get a refund through CC purchases, and they know that many people pro-refund so this helps eliminate the fraudsters, and they know this very well...
Hmmm.. So many promises of reviews, and barely any information from you guys.. The one person wrote a review, but it didn't contain any convincing info. Now this.. Nothing good inside?
LOL I wasn't going to leave it like that. I'm finishing my Squidoo lense review that will give some specifics and be much more deatiled. I'll post the link as soon as done writing it.
Well I didn't want to give too much away in the short review I did write up. I can tell you that some of the things I learned I have not been using to my advantage. Also, I can't justify spending $97 a month for the information they currently have in the member's area. Who knows, this may change.. but I don't want to spend mor ethan $10 to find out For the trial ($9.95) I think it was worth every penny. Though I doubt I will be continuing the course.
i highly doubt anyone will even spend 97$ a month for clickbank university, the only people who would would be.. 1. people who don't make a lot of money so they need this course(but wait! i highly doubt these people could afford 97$ a month extra for "promises"). anyone else is either making good enough money in which the university isn't worth anything to them. then there are the people in the middle. I think clickbank will make enough to justify i success with it but i doubt it will last for long.
If the CBU can decrease the membership fees, then many affiliates would be willing to try it atleast for a couple of months.
