    Hey,

I think that when I've sold my site I want to buy one of the new iPod touch 16GB version. I've seen them, and had a little go but can someone actually give me a review from a dp member?

    Rep will be given :)

    Hecky,

It's a fantastic little device that you really won't be disappointed with. I actually got rid of it after a month since I upgraded to the iPhone, but it's honestly the best thing (other than the iPhone) that Apple has ever produced. I remember using it for the first time and just sat there for 3 hours straight playing with it. Trust me, zooming in on photos by using the "pinching" method NEVER gets old. Nor does flicking through albums using cover flow. Or browsing around websites on Safari.

So in short, get it. I'm not able to offer a really detailed review since I just had a BIG night :)o), but I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about it.

Yeah, I love the pinch thing, it does look awesome. I rekon the reason apple has gone so far with this, is because, unlike pretty much any other mp3, it has decent software on it. By decent software, I mean the transitions, ease of use and the shine, also the screen to be able to view those.

If it had internet radio I would buy without question :)

    Thanks, rep added :).

I've been on this for about 30 minutes, and it's incredible! I can type maybe 1/2 the speed I can on my pc, which is really good for a mobile device. They've really put lots of thought into making it really easy to use and looks amazing. The screen is just right for watching movies, and it's really really good in every way :).

In that link, check out the demo video, it'l give you an idea ;).

Can you use MSN messenger on it? How is the browser? Can you listen to music whilst browsing the web and using MSN (if it's possible)?

Is it possible to play music aloud or must you use earphones?

Can you use MSN messenger on it?

I use meebo.com and it looks like it's been made to fit the ipod touch/iphone because it's really really nice :)

    How is the browser?

They've done a really really good job on making the browser, I can't find any faults :). Really easy to use

    Yes :)

Is it possible to play music aloud or must you use earphones?

    Just earphones :)

Alright thanks for the answers! :D

So with Meebo, is it possible to browse sites (DP for example) and easily switch between your MSN Convos and other sites, whilst listening to music? Does it become messy/confusing?

Is the iPod touch worth it for general usage? So for music, but not just the music. Also for a lot of web browsing, chatting etc. What else can you do?

Are the applications and games to download? Is the experience likely to evolve in anyway or will it be pretty much the same out of the box?

What other key features are there that justify the purchase other than for music/video purposes?

I'm considering getting one, but want to be sure it's the right choice!

Not at all, infact it looks awesome! You can have multiple pages open, then when you want to switch pages, it goes into like a 3d view of all your pages, really nice and easy. Internet is really fast over wifi also.

Is the iPod touch worth it for general usage? So for music, but not just the music. Also for a lot of web browsing, chatting etc. What else can you do?

Music, Video, Inbuilt YouTube functions, photos, calendar, adress book, world clocks :)

Are the applications and games to download? Is the experience likely to evolve in anyway or will it be pretty much the same out of the box?

Uhm, well I havent seen any downloads yet, but obviously the web does allow lots of expansion with msn etc.

What other key features are there that justify the purchase other than for music/video purposes?

I don't think you can really say other than :) The music and video are now totally different/new. The music has been changed from a list of music to options of flicking through albums, scrolling down in the coolest way ever and having genres & playlists inbuilt. Also :
