Would something that is 14 font be viewed as more importantn on a page than 12 font?

What if I had some small text at the bottom with 8 font?

Font size won't affect SEO, I believe.

<title> tags, <h> tags (and even bolding - small impact) helps seo.

@Waffleguy: don't worry about that, important is not to have hidden elements and very small texts ( like 1px ).

most web 2.0 designs has higher than 12px font size. its easy for all readers.mostly for Blogs & Articles !
anyway i am sure that the heading - <h1> - <h6> , bold - <b> tags are important to SEO.

    thanks !

Overusing your H1 will not only dilute the importance of it, and also risk getting flagged for spamming to google. Use it with CAUTION.

It wont impact seo but can have an impact on your traffic if they cant read properly and easily. Dont make it too small.

Font size won't affect in SEO. But avoid using small fonts in your site. You must consider the visitor in general. Small fonts are bad for the old-age visitors in terms of reading, size 14 font is best fits for them but the standard size of font in a website is 12.

as they say it wont affect, but not try to use too small font for the reader might feel off to your site because of your fonts.
