Does anyone else find it annoying to find a thread saying "i reached -- posts". On the first page of general chat there are 2 threads with people reaching 1k posts, 1 reaching 250 posts and 1 reaching 100 posts. Personally I don't really care. It is just a chance for people to repeatedly say "congratulations"
anoying no, funny yes. Some are really milestone's like a 1000 and 3000 posts etc. I have never posted 1 but maybe I will when I reach 1000.
For lower posts I do find them annoying, but if someone posts that they have reached 10k posts, then all I can say is wow! good for you
Like all things, it is good when done in moderation If you see too many of them around, then you tend to get pissed off.
I think we should all be given a freebie "My XXXX post!" thread. I made one when I hit 1000, but once is enough. ---- Suggest me please?
There should be an official "I've hit 1,000 posts" thread, then everyone can bump it once when they hit 1k... Instead of having 100 other threads like that...
i posted one for the 1000 and/or 2000 but never bothered for the 3000 or 4000 when i get to 10,000 then i'll post one again.
Its ok if n00bs get excited and post threads about it, but what really annoys me is when people make posts like Crownrahul here. hard work? goal ? It's almost as if they believe higher post count == bigger cojones
I never opened those kind of threads but maybe i'll open a 5555 posts thread cause number 5 i my favorite number.
