Ok here is the thing. I tried to update the email address on my david26 profile but this site never sent me the email to confirm the change therefore that account is permanently locked out. I emailed the admin about 5 times but never a response. I created this account a while back and it get penalized for having a duplicate account. Could you please give me a break and just remove the other account or at least not ban this one since I cannot and do not plan to use any other accounts other than this one now. Thanks for your understanding I just want to enjoy the forums and nothing more.

    i'll say bye bye now

you made this account Join Date: Feb 27th 2007 thats not gonna help ya
if you use a throwaway email address to register, thats your fault.

dupe accounts gets both banned, and as you having david26 and made this account in Jul 24th 2005, then dont expect any sympathy its not like you didn't know the rules in that 2 years is it?

Um I hope you are not a mod because you are totally wrong. I didn't use a throwaway email so stop assuming. I used my real email address from my site domain that I have been using for the past 10 years but for some reason digitalpoint will not send emails to my address (I suppose that DP is on the blacklist now and is automatically blocked).

Um no. That is DP's problem because THEY are on the blacklist. I tell you what, why don't you go back to your sex site and leave the complicated things to us. Thanks.

Have you conducted a test to see if "everyone" gets an email blondie? Since you obviously do not know, the blacklist is third party on the net so I have no control of that. It is up to the webmaster of DP to remove their domain/IP from the list. They were obviously added to that list due to spammers posting from here that were spammed. Now that I have eduated you may leave now before you make yourself look worse. Take care :)

I don't think DP is on any blacklist, as the blacklist owners are most likely to be DP members :)

i did have a problem a while ago recieving emails from DP, i edited my email filters and voila i can recieve them again, DP (and other forum emails) tend to be sent to junk-mail due to being generated by software, if you have the likes of spam assasin killing any email with a score over xx your probably killing DPs too

Activation mails don't always make it. I registered using my domain email which receives mail from everywhere else but not from here. I resent the activation several times and then I read a thread here in feedback where someone who couldn't activate their account changed his/her email address in their profile to a gmail account and received it then. I tried the same and it also worked.

well if its domain accounts you use, then it is most likely your server or host settings that have the filters set to high, thats not a DP problem is it?

I agree with samantha. It is your problem. YOU want to join this forum so YOU should makesure you fit the requirement. If YOUR email doesn't get the dp mails than that is bad luck for YOU

btw hotmail get's dp emails easely. Try that.

I don't have a horse in this race. The OP may be telling the truth.

All of you need to accept that some shared hosting accounts come with a mail server that will not accept mail from and address that can not receive mail. It is SPAM prevention at the top level. This is nothing that the domain owner can control.

Sawz you said it so well:
He just doesn't know what he started here.

You muffed your chance. This account was created the day your other account was banned. Interesting, is it not?
