well, i'm not sure if this is the right forum, but i don't get it when ppl said 'insert CPM ads in your site'. can anyone explain what's that mean? and how to do it? is that have something to do with adsense? or some other advertisements?
CPM ads pay money per 1,000 impressions so you get payed just by displaying the ad. Like for 1,000 pages you get $1 etc... Usually this is by Pop-unders, or inertial ads (full page ads) or CPM banners. Only usefull if you have many uniques visitors daily.
thnx! can we choose that options in google adsense? or with other advertiser? which advertiser can do that?
Adsense does not have CPM. Well actually kind of once a awhile you might get 1c from impressions. But rarely. Don't count on it. Move on to here, and we a have list of some CPM advertisers. http://www.affiliateseeking.com/list/23000004/1.html *has affiliate links.
Hi Dollar, had a look at your list, which one do you think is the best for CPM - we get avg 20K per day. Don't want to use POP-up or POP-under.
Actually Google has CPM but it's so insignificant as Dollar suggested. For the interest of everyone, better to have text based ads than image ads on high traffic web sites. (Obviously, this depends on the niche and content). For instance (personal experience) if you have a file/image/wallpaper download web site, it is better to have text ads which can generate some clicks than image ads that are much poorer in CTR.
