If they tried signing it a name that could at least be a little trusted, then maybe they would catch more people in these scams
Yeah I did fall for one that had me made a 100 million bucks, lol I gave them my cell number, email ID... Damn.. I started getting calls for cheap viagra pills and home loans, LOL!
I am obviously not as lucky as some of you. I get about 1000 spam email a day and I hardly ever win anything. I get cheap watches, Viagra, software, homeloans. But never lottery. It's not fair I tell you. FFMG
Where do you guys/gal catch all these diseases? I have two mail accounts (one on yahoo), and all clear. I never ever disclose my email, at least not as a working link.
I have been running around 10/15 websites for the past 10 years and as the administrator I get un-routed emails, (I know I don't have to). You also have to give you email addresses to various people, (forums, websites, advertisers, customer and so on), so your address is bound to leak out over the years. My personal email address is a well protected secret, but I still get some spam from time to time. Mainly because my friends forward those hoax/joke emails and the address is harvested from those. FFMG

By referring to the Police stats , Nigerian 419 scams are still a pretty profitable model. My favourite has to be the lottery version. How people may think they have won without purchasing a ticket is beyond me.
