Dear DP Members, This is my apology. Earlier this week, i promoted a ClickBank product but used a doctored ClickBank image of my earnings. I admit this was wrong but i'd seen so many that i thought it was accepted within the affiliate community. Obviously not. This is my formal apology and i hope i can be forgiven. I have replaced the picture with my actual earnings from the first day (check all you want, its not faked) and have removed the doctored image. I do not recommend anyone to do this as (as i have experianced) one doctored image can discredit your whole article. I actually DID havea copy of GoogleAssassin and the review was authentic. I continue to believe that GoogleAssassin is a great product. Chris IS a c*nt for re-packaging an old product but i am pleased with AffiliatesDen and don't mind paying Chriss for letting me know about it. Hopefully it will be updated soon. Also, to lighten my "badness", if you had subscribed and checked out the bonuses, then you would have seen that i actually have been spoiling my subscribers and have so far given away more than $9,000 dollars worth of products. Anyways, there we go. Apology done. Thanks DP for making me see the light! Another member converted by the DP community. Kind Regards -Dave
Hey, You better be careful with your reputation because if you do intend to make IM your livelihood you got to come clean and be honest. Dont you feel better now? Those stats does not look that bad afterall.... The newbies now are smarter that the newbies of 5 years ago. We are more intune with present day technology. What got up in that head of yours trying to be deceptive to us and the readers of your websites? I hope you learn a good lesson. You may need to do some serious damage control. Now about your apology being accepted...arm
Dunnno! haha Just thought it'd increase my profits, and it did. And i didnt tthink it could be that bad seeing as the review was 100% truthful! haha
Oh course, anybody seeing your stats would of gladly buy a dog from you, plus the added bonuses. Those were some very impressive stats for one day! I was one of the first persons who asked to see your stats, because I wanted to see proof. Then the doubts from other posters were raised then the fantastic work by the photoshop specialist MMedia...which showed the without a shadow of a doubt that these were doctored screen shots of your income. I am sure you got lots of persons bookmarking your pages, I was one of them, I wanted to see the sales for yesterday and today. Anyhow, its past , the guys here are professionals, we have all deceived our lists, visitors to our site in one or the other, because stretching the truth sometimes brings good results. Its our weekness as human beings. Its good that you came clean early and apologize.
Well u may have apologised but i dont think anyone would buy anything from you. You are officially a 'dodgy geezer'
"Also, to lighten my "badness", if you had subscribed and checked out the bonuses, then you would have seen that i actually have been spoiling my subscribers and have so far given away more than $9,000 dollars worth of products." That is your perceived value. Additionally, if this is related to the "any click bank product for free" that you were on about then you should still watch your back as there are a number of people on here hunting you down for that. Thank you for the apology, but it feels like you are still trying to push the product even now. Be very careful, the ice is very thin and you have hot shoes.
Haha, i like that similie! No, im not, was just explaining that i actually provide QUALITY material. And no, nothing to do with ClickBank products. And just for your information, i do actually buy the clickbank products from the merchants so i dont see why they should get annoyed.
I honestly saw all your posts as spam and i know i've seen one like this awhile back so who knows how many other so called "reviews" you doctored. I think it would just be good if you stopped making those kinds of posts altogether. Or if your gonna talk about them don't have a link which points to affiliate links to make money, because i think thats considered spam especially the presale pages you make.
Your response from the thread that drowned you - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=566404 : "Thing is, i have a way of getting ClickBank products for free legally. So its no loss for me" __________________ 80% Of ANY ClickBank Product - PM me for details. SaleTrigger - FORCE Your Visitors To Buy" If you have nothing to worry about - I'm sure ClickBank won't mind hearing about it? Furthermore, what's with your Signature? 80% off ClickBank products, shall I get some friends to attempt to purchase something from you? Or can I purchase something from you? While your attempt to apologize is here, you still seem to be pushing the same way/same pitch: If you do decide to buy though my link, then i will offer you an insane bonus! Any ClickBank product 100% free. That's right, any other ClickBank product regardless of the price, 100% free. All you have to do is buy though the following link and email me you receipt: This is impossible without going into debt, and again if you are giving our products away for free as you state various times now then cover up, you have beef. Bro I'm going to hunt this until I and all other vendors are 1000% sure you are not exploiting the CB DB. This in my opinion is a poor attempt to version your pitch. Come clean all the way if you're going to come clean. You've caught yourself in yet another lie within an apology. You are not fooling people with $8000+ in extras (perhaps an ebay kit of 3000 ebooks for $9 with MRR?), and I'm at a loss as to how you are handling yourself. I feel that you will be marked for a very long time with this. I care not for a personal apology or attention, I care for the greater good, and for the newbs that see you doing this and think it's ok. In fact, in the original post, someone has now spammed within your spam about GA, and they are a peon so it's already happening. In turn I will apologize for having to be the prick that did this to you, and feel like a digital cop, however if vendors don't stick together then this will become a board filled with CRAP (or even more of it). Please address the main issues at hand * Why are you still changing stories about how you obtain your CB products as bonuses? * Why does your signature say 80% off CB products? * Why would it be ok and legal for you to get 'any' clickbank product free? * Why wouldn't you come clean all the way?
I have promoted 2 reviews on DigitalPoint. I have many more posts. I have doctored one image and i have apologized. The reviews were sound and truthfull and i provide quality bonuses. I have made plenty of quality posts in the past too. Secondly, on ALL my reviews, i make it CLEAR to the user that im promoting an affiliate link at the bottom and that if he doesnt want to buy though me he doesnt have to. I dont see whats wrong?
It is good to see another scammer surrendering due to DP members interrogations. Anyway, clickbank products are waste of Time and Money.
its considered spammy, your affiliate link is part of something your spamming its not like its a blog. your sites are pretty much 100% trying to sell something like a sales letter. It would be different if it was part of a blog on affiliate marketing or an honest review instead of a honest review trying to sell itself.
* Why are you still changing stories about how you obtain your CB products as bonuses? * Why does your signature say 80% off CB products? * Why would it be ok and legal for you to get 'any' clickbank product free? * Why wouldn't you come clean all the way? * Why are you still changing stories about how you obtain your CB products as bonuses? I am not. I am gettin ClickBank products legally, by buying them. How can i provide this offer then? Only about 10% of people who buy though me actually bother to ask for the ClickBank bonus. It's kinda like the money back guarantee thing, most people forget about it. * Why does your signature say 80% off CB products? My signature is rented out by a guy who is not on the forums, i can give you his contact information if you want. * Why would it be ok and legal for you to get 'any' clickbank product free? I am not getting any ClickBank products for free. * Why wouldn't you come clean all the way? I have come clean all the way. You seem like you have a grudge against me. I have apologized for doctoring one image, i am sorry for that but have done nothing else wrong. You gong to keep this grudge for ever or going forgive someone? I think that your post is unjustified. I hate to be on the receiving end of this as normally i am the one who is doing this to others. I think you may have taken this way to far. All i have done is made 1 single doctored image. This was mainly due to the fact i only had a few days to get the page up and i needed some type of convincing proof. I normally get results from products first, before i promote them. I don't understand what you mean by "handle myself". if you'd subscribed to the list you would of seen that i have been sending out literally hundreds of free products to my list.
When I get the time I will go fish out the quotes of what you have said from the other 2 threads which include you saying you can get any clickbank product for free. We are only going on what you wrote. Also, just because you buy them does not mean you don't then request a refund, that is the issue people have. And if you have given out $9000 worth of free stuff but only 10% of the people actually follow up on the offer, you should technically be quite a rich person and have made more on clickbank than you have. It is not that we have a problem with 'you' as such, it is a problem with the contradictions etc. Perhaps the best bet is to stop trying to put this particular fire out and just leave it behind now. Give it a week of cooling off then come back fresh and new.
Thanks for coming back and apologizing - you could of just created another DP account like all of the other spammers. The best part about DP is that there are users who will verify your info. It really makes a difference in preserving the community.
I read through the entire thread... noticed it right when it came out. Sad to say but irregardless of your apology, I would never trust you or do business with you. How can you ever think it's accepted to doctor photos? Ah well. Good luck in life with that sort of attitude.
They're good for selling, not for buying But yes I agree that any CB sales pitch here I look at as spam. I like to think of this as a place where marketers do business with each other, and give each other information... not try to sell each other crappy CB products. If we want to see a CB sales page we know where to find hem... you know?
