I Got Fed Up With YPN & Made A Blog @ YPNstinks.com

Discussion in 'Publisher Network' started by ypnpublisher, Nov 19, 2007.

So I got fed up with YPN recently and made a blog about my experiences with YPN over the past year and a half as well what I think is wrong with YPN and what Yahoo could do to fix it. I figured it would be a good place to vent about some issues and get some more feedback from other publishers who are sick of Yahoo neglecting publishers and its own content network.

I can't post direct links yet because this is my first post, but the blog's URL is ypnstinks.com.

    Hope you find it informative.

I almost made a blog about AdCenter because it sucked so much back in the day. Microsoft actually seems to have the initiative to compete against Google these days....unlike Yahoo. Very nice blog.

http://www.ypnstinks.com since you can't post the URL yourself and I'm sure a lot of people are lazy and won't wanna type it in ;)

I don't think they have enough advertisers to open up to everyone just yet.

A whole site devoted to hating YPN. I don't know what to make of it. I half expected to see AdSense running but that wouldv'e been too obvious ;) .

Interesting. I've tried to get in twice in a year's time and turned down. If they are leaving, surely there is a spot for me?

PS, good luck with the blog. Hope there's no problem using the letters YPN in the domain name :)

    PSS. Welcome to Digital Point!

i actually looked this up the other day and didnt see anything about "ypn" being a registered trademark anywhere on the USPTO site. Yahoo Publisher Netwrk is probably trademarked but not "YPN".

Do you think yahoo's new ypn survey on their blog was in response to this site? The timing seems a little strange.
