I'm surprised that you would afford these opinions, especially given the clarification afforded. I guess when it's about Bush, despite McClellan's "clarification," facts don't matter. Just press forward making things up. Really sad show of partisanship, earl.

I agree with you on that.
He obviously doesn't want to disappoint his publishers so he needs to come out with something explosive and critical of the administration knowing that in this

current climate its what sells, that and "Bush knew about 911" McClellan is a traitor selling out the administration for a few bucks, in order to be the darlings of the liberal media.

Mark my word, 60 minutes will come calling, that will really be a shot in the arm for book sales.

Yet if it was a liberal president something tells me you'd be singing a different tune.

If McClellan had written a book that was all pro Bush something tells me you'd also talk about how much integrity he has, it's all true, see Bush is a god, yadda, yadda, yadda.

God forbid someone speak their mind, say anything bad, otherwise it's just for the money.

I guess the entire time anyone in any administration is on the job you can't take their word for anything as it's 'just about the money'

What a f**ked up paradigm, where people who disagree with the government, or expose a conspiracy are labeled traitors

It used to be that agitators caused positive change (MLK), and whistle blowers were heroes of the people.

I don't know how accurate the information in this book is, I doubt anyone posting here does. It's just troubling to see the way people rally 'round the family (government) against their fellow citizens. Everyday, things get a little more fascist around here.

In fact, it just goes to show how stunted intellectualism and critical thinking are in today's societies. How people can label someone a liar, in the absence of evidence is depressing.

I wonder why none in the media are questioning mcclellan's motive behind all this? Or why they are not talking about how much money he is going to make off the book? Maybe because it fits their agenda of being anti-bush??

But why would that matter if the information within is true?

The only thing that should matter is that his statements are true or false.

Character assassination has taken the place of critical thinking and self awareness in this society.
