    Hi all,

After getting some links I got indexed in both yahoo and google. But still nothing from MSN. Do I need to worry?

    Thanks

Get a Webmaster account at Live Search, which will help you determine why your pages are not in their index. You can also submit sitemaps, etc. All info in an artice Live Webmaster Center.

    I hope this helps...

Did you try submitting your site to the suggested sites link..?
    http://search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx?FORM=SUNO
Also msn seems to crawl a little slower then the others may take some time..
I always put my links on at least 4 or 5 pages already indexed. Usually when i submitt a site it gets indexed the 1stweek but some time it takes about 2 weeks.

    Good luck :)

I've noticed a few glitches with Live webmaster where it says no data for my site, keep logging in and you should see the data, the indexed pages and the option to submit your sitemap etc..

Thanks for your replies. I have some good links and the site is live for about a month. I guess that I have nothing else left than just wait :D

Have you authenticated it yet useing the meta tags and also is your site indexed?
If its not indexed it might not show data until it is..

If so, go to http://search.live.com and do a site:www.YOURSITEHERE.com search and see whether your pages come up. If so, then I guess one just has to conclude that the Webmaster Tools are just, for whatever reason, not accurately representing or accessing the information about your site.

If you keep having problems you could post it on the official microsoft webmaster tools forum.. (Yup there still having a few glitches)

Yes I did - it's just that it isn't indexed... Really strange. Usually MSN was first there to pick it up...

Actually I submitted my site using that form yesterday, but the site has been online for about 25 days and it's indexed in both Yahoo and Google though.

I re-wrote a site (www.nailandrockett.com) at the beginning of October but MSN still havn't crawled the new version. From the details held in my MSN Webmaster Account, the site was last crawled on 2nd September. Google and Yahoo had crawled the new version within 7 days and keep revisting on a regular basis.

I guess MSN need to seriously increase their crawl frequency of all sites to stay up to date and keep up with the top two search engines. I have done everything to maximise inbound links and have submitted to live search using my MSN Webmaster account, but still no indexing / crawlers after almost three months. Does anyone else have any ideas other than sit and wait?

Finally my site got indexed on MSN today... Well just a hompage, but this is a good start I guess. In webmaster tools it shows rank with all fields filled green... This is a good thing I think. It also shows 10 links to my site and the all those links have a full green rank too.

Anyway, than you all for your help.
