    Hey people,

I need a domain provider that has an easy to transfer domain setup like namecheap and is cheaper than namecheap.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

    Cheers

I would recommend GoDaddy. Very easy to manage your domains and there are always some great coupon codes available to save you some cash

Thanks for the reply but transferring a domain is a pain with Godaddy I think compared to namecheap where you only need to add the username to transfer the domain to and thats it.

I transfer 2-5 domains a week so the less info I need from people I need to transfer to the better.

    Thanks for the reply.

Anyone else have any other suggestions?

I need a domain provider that is either cheaper than $9.29 or has ongoing free whois protection.

    Cheers

    Joe

You should try estdomains.com and make a reseller account

    1. Cheapest price on the net. $6.39 for most TLD AND FREE whois protection
    2. ICANN accredited
    3. Easy push. Email and customer ID needed
    4. Easy transfer. Give your domain secret code to your customer, once he put the secret code on his panel everything is handled automatically.
    5. Very good turnkey reseller shop
    6. No minimum deposit

    Hope this help :)

Not sure if you know about this:

To transfer to domain in godaddy, you just need the other guy's email. All other info you just need to type in any dummy info. When the other guy receives it, it's automatically changed back to his own info.

It is silly for godaddy to ask you type in dummy info, but at least you don't really need to ask for it.

    Try Dynadot.com
.Com regular price is 8.99, if you spend $500, then it is $7.50
Everything is simple, fast and safe. IMO one of the best registrars. For domain push you need user ID and e-mail. Recipient accepts domain just by one click in his acount.

Hello its not an issue its a time waster especially when you transfer domains on an ongoing basis.

Siteman thanks for the tip. Will try that dummy data info and see what happens to be honest if its not needed it should not be visible.

Kris055 thanks for that tip so its $11 a year for a domain with whois protection.

I wonder if there is a domain name provider who offers free whois protection with easy to transfer interface for under $9. If anyone else any other suggestions please post them.

    Thank You

    Joe

If you into Domain Trading...go for Godaddy....most of the DP guy will not buy your domain if it is registred with any other Domain Registrar

So go for Godaddy... Strong Recommendation

Hi ... godaddy.com seems what you need, right now. A lot of hype; support wobbles, but if you give 'em heck, they'll do your bidding. If you have a db of >500, godaddy.com can't load it. Otherwise, recommended. If you don't use FrontPage, AN Hosting or mid-phase (same company) are dy-no-mite; best support on Internet. If you need FrontPage, make it godaddy.com, just no streaming video or audio, but the company will be around in 5 or 10 years, whereas others, most, won't. Hope this helps. Good luck.

If you'd ask which is the best registrar, I'd say GoDaddy, without any doubt.
Moreover, it's one of the cheaper, has got all the features already listed in this thread, and, as Amrendra said, it's a kind of "bond" for many buyers.
Anyway, if you want something else, you can try domainsite: basic registration goes at 6.99$ and domain transfer process looks very similar to Namecheap's one.
