withdraw to bankaccount...

I'm going to withdraw funds from paypal to my icici bank account..

Worried if payment returned then it'll charge payment fee..

it'll written that Please enter your name exactly as it appears on your bank account.

I've First Name "VITRAG" Last Name "SHAH" in my paypal and in bankacocunt also it must be same ..they wrote name from my passport.. in passport it is written as name "Vitrag middlename" Surname: "SHAH"

is it ok? will it conflict?

and one more question.. IFSC code of branch in which i created account or ifsc code of any branch of icici in my city will be ok?

Anyone please if you have tried then solve my query. so i can withdraw without fear.

 

As to your first question, you might want to ask Paypal about it.

 

Yeah.. my name and spelings are simila...i fear just whether it'll recognise or not and accept patments or not.. actually i'm a medical student and dumbo in commerce that's y much fear..

Yes I don't think all cheque books having IFSC codes printed there. I am not having Exp with ICICI though but It is happened to me with SBI

 

It's clearly printed In 2nd page of your checkbook where your name and address is printed.

i called to cc they gave number ICI0000***.it isnt accpeting in paypal..i think it's lacking in number..it should be of 11 digits..

 

Normally (at least in my case) it is ICIC000XXXX where xxxx is first four digit of your account number.

i called to bank again and they told IFSC number..first time they forgot C.
IT's ICIC000**** [**** is first for digit of account number]

Have withdrawn from paypal..hope i'll get it in my account soon...

but paypal charged more then current conversion rates.

 

Paypal charges 2.5% additional for foreign exchanges to protect them from the constant fluctuations and also to pay for various bank charges. The exchange rates which paypal quotes comes from their bank at that point of time.

Currently, the US$ is very unstable and you really do not have very good rates. The thing is that if you do not need the money now, you can wait till it stabilizes probably by the end of next year.

If you are concerned about that, you might want to set your currency balance as EURO so at least you get the stability of that currency and when you withdraw it would be from EURO to Indian Rupees. There will still be the 2.5% which is levied to your customers and when you withdraw but at least the EURO is more stable compared to the US$.

it was my first withdraw, so may it take a long time.

PPL are akso getting fund in 2 or 3 days

Well, the name wont create any problem , u just need to give the name exactly mentioned im your ICIC bank account. Once i have withdrawn my paypal balance in to my BOB Card....its not a big deal...
