very attractive & dashy - opened very smoothly with me ! Ads placement are not though good here - instead of placing the rectangle at the bottom if it is placed b/w the tittle and content then it would generate maximum CPC - similarly on the same page instead of using orange text color use the color which match your header .. It'll make better color combination . Do some changes in your ads color scheme - Adjust it so that it doesn't reflect that it's something else other than the content of your site - If I were you I would use the ads tittle color same like the color of your sidebar Links ,the text color blue like your header & the link color Black - thats what I think - over all its a nice site ,I'll give A++ Rating!! It looks nice..as the whole thing already made when you bought it.. Id be carefull and make sure there isnt more sites like that on the net that might have duplicat content if it was mabye change it around a little bit.. But if its not then awsume its a cool looking functional site
Hey, like the colors. The first thing I noticed was a spelling mistake on the second line. May be the adsense could be placed a little better to get more clicks but then again who wants the first thing they see when they open a page is ads. Hello Nilgesz. I had an opportunity to review your site today. My Thoughts Logo & Header As you had mentioned, you need an updated logo. I'd also suggest a slogan to go with your logo. Something that briefly describes what your site is all about in just a few words. The header is simple enough. No need for changes here. Navigation All your navigation links work fine. At times, your site takes a little longer to load and loses the template of the site. But, once it loads... the template comes back and looks normal again. I did notice that you are missing 2 important navigation links. These are About and Contact. I think that it is always important to have these within a site... as people are accustomed to these... and its also a good way to find out who you are... and how to get a hold of you... Lastly for navigation... I'd also think of some way of shortening the names of your links... Content Content content content.... there is so much content.... I think adding some metephorical pictures would spice up your site... I found myself reading a huge text book... going through the site... I'd also suggest that you have someone edit your content for any spelling and grammar errors.... or even just clarity... maybe even something to simplify what these articles are saying.. Conclusion Its a good start... but would recommend doing some of the tips as suggested by other DP members also... This review was done with IE 6.02 on Windows XP SP2 I do hope this helps you abit. microbrain has the right idea with the ads, but I suggest you place the ad units within the content so that the text wraps around it. Your CTR will increase dramatically if you do so. Think about it -- with your current placement, the only clicks you'll be receiving are from those that read the entire article (which, let's face it, won't be many) or those that scroll down to the very bottom of the page. By having ads placed right where the visitor will be looking, there's more chance that they'll click and leave the site (which should be your goal with this kind of site). All the best, Liam
I have to admit it is one of the simple designs. Problem is this site is not one I would have purchased, the KEY to a ready made site is that it is 100% complete from footer to header and up to date rss feeds for content, I SEE no rss feeds and or SEO that makes this site search engine anything.
