Is it normal to only get 3 cents off of two clicks? Also, someone told me they downloaded firefox with my referral button and I only got a click for it not a sign up, so no moneys. Is that normal too?
You will only get the referral if they install it, and it is the first time they have installed it on that computer.
and if they did install it and never had it before, why didn't I get paid? Cuz the person told me they did it and they loved it. They never even heard of Firefox before.
where are they geographically with respect to you? I have a theory that Google doesn't count clicks you receive that come from within 30 miles of your IP.
i'm talking about referral clicks here, not ads. the reason i think so is because i had family and friends install firefox from one of my buttons earlier this year. i only got paid for a fraction of them, i figured it was for those that lived the furthest away.
my website is about video games and the ads are usually something like Gametap, Gaming Stores, blah blah
