Delete my own thread..

    I would like to delete one of my threads as requested by some of my buyers.

    What should i do ?

    report the thread to a mod using the report post function.
    ask that it be locked, they won't delete it.

    I did.. and they only locked it as you said.

    At least can i clean the posts !!

    no. you can only delete it within 8 hours yourself. if no-one has posted in the thread,

    once someone has posted in a thread you started, then the thread stays no matter what.
    you can request for the thread to be locked, by reporting your own 1st post in your thread.
    you can delete your own posts within the thread and within 8 hours, and thats all you can do,

    under exceptional circumstances you can get a thread main post edited, but not deleted. and/or if you have a court order, or the admin/mods feel you have solid grounds, then they might delete or move it, but thats very rare and only ever done under really exceptional circumstances.

    exceptional circumstances =
    someones life depends on it, and you have proof from a Court,
    your life depends on it and you have proof from a court.
    Claim that the sky is falling in and you have proof, you'll get a ban and a recommendation to visit a Dr at best.
    a "fuck off" is normal quotes CR :)
